Mr. Wong is a kind person, but is lacking a bit as a teacher. He is not the most enthusiastic math teacher. Every thing was taught out of the textbook, and that wasn't at all engaging. I had actually never been so lost in a math class before. I hope that he improves for his classes in the years to come, however, I did not find it beneficial to have him, and do not remember anything he taught me. Although, he has good intentions, it seems he has a lack of interest when it comes to teaching.
Mr. Wong is by far one of the best math teachers at Marc Garneau. He is genuinely kind, funny, and understanding. He emphasizes the importance of doing homework everyday, reviewing notes, and studying in order to be successful, and tries his very best to push students to their limit and allow them to succeed in life. He teaches with ease and flexibility, and is approachable. I felt very comfortable addressing any concerns about my understanding with him, and I was not intimidated by him at all.
Definitely funniest Calculus teacher in the school. Analogies don't make sense, but still a funny guy. Doesn't really "teach" but instead "shows"
if you put effort into listenin to what he has to say, he's a cool teacher to have. unlike some other teachers, his teaching is very relaxed and every word he says is clear just sinks in. (^_^)d
Mr. Wong is not only an excellent teacher but also very friendly and informative person. I think that i could not have had a better teacher then him...cuz i got every single word of him.cood dude
Very good math teacher, language barrier...and spares are a few weaknesses....otherwise very good, excellent teacher...
Definetly plays favorites and often will discourage students he does not like. Will not help when asked to do so .
he is the best even if you dont know what he is saying but he passes you anyway easy"""
He won't come early or stay late to give help. If you don't have his spares you're in trouble.
He's an awesome teacher! Very informative and he's very understanding. So he still has his accent, plenty of you do too.
he's a great teacher, once you start getting what he's sayin :)
