If you need to take accounting or law sucks for you because your stuck with this man. Sadly I’ve had him for three classes, grade 11 law and accounting and grade 12 accounting. By being in three of his classes I’ve learned a lot about him, one thing being that he does not like to teach. Every day he will make the students learn by themselves, meaning that we just read the text book and get no notes (makes it very hard to study for tests and exams). He’s lazy and unorganized, he has no plan.
the more you cheat the higher your mark is cause peer evaluation.
You will learn a lot....and i mean A Lot
man bent us over day in day out. He does not teach rather gets us to learn the textbook on our own. Peer evaluates EVERYTHING and is a very boring class. Not to mention has the hardest exam in the school. Unless you have a love for accounting or law would not recommend. There are many easier M level courses you can take than his class.
He was great! My favorite teacher at Sinclair. Loved his stories.... :)
Mr. Willetts is an interesting teacher, in that he doesn't teach. He wants us to think independently, but were not doing research in University. In Grade 11, we do rudimentary Bookkeeper work, so I don't understand his philosophy.
Mr. Willetts was one of my favourites because he knew what he was doing always was joking around and gave highmarks
Big W is the best, great charisma and a real cool guy. I would recommend him to anyone (with a brain).
Best teacher I've had at my entire time at the school. Made my year very interesting and worthwhile.
Mr. Willetts is a sick teacher! I have him for my Law class, he is one of the best teachers at Sinclair! Hope that you have him, he is funny, easy to work with, and he gives pretty high marks.
Not very impressed. He knows his stuff, smart guy. He's a lazy marker though and lets students do most of the marking for him. Which means the cheaters get high marks and honest students don't. Cheat.
Mr Willetts can prepare you for unviersity better than any other teacher at Sinclair. I know sometime when he talks a lot it feels like nothing's getting done, but his lecture styles are actually very effective when it comes to learning how to take effective notes and thinking critically. I loved how he challenged all of the students and was really consistent with the way he operated the classes. :)
Mr.Willets was an awesome teacher, I loved every minute of his class!
Can sometimes be unfair, but you really learn a lot in his class. just dont take things personally all the time, and do your best, and youll be fine, he's a stickler for long stories thouhg, watch out
great teacher. knows his stuff, but sometimes contradicts himself and the textbook. Always stick to the textbook thats what the tests are based on. great guy, does his best. random long stories.
hes a good teacher but has to many random storys (but there funny)
Good guy, poor teacher... does little to no notes, and has extremely difficult exams and ISU's... his tests are relatively easy(he is lazy so he makes them all multi-choice so he doesn't have to mark anything)... but I would not recommend him.. he is very meh, but his ISU's and exams are to difficult overall...
A great teacher who inspired me to study law in University and graduate with honours... seriously, a really decent guy and the type of teacher than leaves an impression on you long after high school
If you're taking law as a slot filler/interest course with him, switch out. If, however, you plan to go into law as a career, he'll really get you prepared for university law courses/law school.
He talks forever and you have to wait a whole period just to take up one set of questions. And those on-the-spot quizzes are a bad idea because the entire class ends up with a lot of homework because other people just don't work.
Palace, London, Plane, Jack, Union, Flag those are the word that he told us at the beginning of the year to teach us how to remeber stuff and i still do WOW thats cool.............
hes an amazing teacher a funny guy and such a good teacher i learnt a lot in his class and never had a problem with him
He can be random with his sense of humour, asks trick questions. Tailors his classes for students who have difficulty while kids who have an easy time sit there I played Hangman with a friend all semester, and finished with a 97.
Well, i didn't have Mr.Willetts for a teacher, but he did come to talk to my class once, he seems ok and my friend says that he's pretty cool, plus... HE'S BRITISH!!!!! Dude, that is soooo cool, i mean, British!! hahaha that's awesome!!!
Mr.Willets is a teacher that takes the initiative to crack up a few hilarious jokes while keeping the class as lively and alert as possible. The stories of his experience in banking are quite interesting. Even though he turning 50, he's still cool.
I am a previous student and feel very fortunate to have had Mr. Willetts as a teacher, tough marker sometimes, and expects alot out of you. But it really made me see that I could live up to each expectation. THANK YOU
Mr.Willetts is really cool. He's very clear too but he does mark hard. LONDON, POSTURE, THE PIG AND WHITSLE!! lol mad jks.
LOL love the stories about his days as a delivery guy. He marks hard, but makes everything clear. And it actually pays off in university, believe it or not!
Great TAP teacher, I know our TAP isnt as enthusiatic about TAP activities as your last one, but we still enjoy having you for a TAP teacher.
AWESOME teacher..I learn so much in that class and so early in the morning too! Very funny and extremely smart. Keep it up--students who have you for any course are FORTUNATE.
Mr. willetts...wat a very intelligent man...but can make you look like a fool sometimes....hes cool in my books
Hard in school work but funny and understandable and also helpfull.
