Probably one of my favorite course sin high school was Mr. Way's history class. He was so awesome at teaching and had a unique way of keeping us interested in his class - and he has a great sense of humor too :-)
Mr. Way is by far is the BEST teacher at Merivale and the best teacher i have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Although me and him went through some hard times he NEVER held that against me. THANKS!!
Easy class with a great guy. So geeky and funny. Always big on the class discussions about current events or just things going on that got very interesting. Lent me his Flight of the Conchords dvd on the Stratford trip. So cool.
Uhm by far the best teacher ive ever had. seriously, amazing. so dorky, but so loveable at the same time. :)
listen way is the coolest of coolest people and if anyone states otherwise get a life or i shall hunt you down. beleive me i can
Four years since I had him for grade 9 gifted English. He was amazing! Great intro on the first day ... "I'm here because your scheduled teacher retired last Friday." Many hilarious moments ... good times, good times. He's too cool to teach high school.
meh, kind of bland. didn't really make class enjoyable. ok marker, ok in general.
mr.way is the greatest teacher in the school! he is funny and awesome!
i have him for english, and he is great..he makes english fun and actually takes time to know each student personally. there is never anyone who argues with him because he is very fair, and his lessons are very clear, and doesn't take a long time to explain. His voice is clear and he makes class fun. He is a new type of english teacher and is a perfect example of the way people should teach.
He's fun...and never fails to make a class very interesting. Great teacher.
Mr. Way is a very laughing teacher and likes to dance
Amazing teacher. His notes are really good, his lessons are planned well, I just.. like his teaching style a lot. He's funny, and I think he appreciates different opinions in his class. He gets to be a harder marker the higher the grade you are in, clearly. I took a course, just because I knew he was teaching it, he's great. A memorable teacher for sure :)
Fun teacher. You won't necessarily get the greatest marks in his course, but you certainly won't do badly. He makes the class enjoyable. Too bad I never had him after grade 9. What makes Mr. Way so awesome is simple: school isn't very fun the older you get, but he can make it pretty fun sometimes. You'll appreciate it when you get to grade 12.
I agree, Mr.Way is a good teacher and he's amusing/easy going/patient, but he's just okay. He's a pretty hard marker, although I appreciate that. He has taught me a lot this year.
I don't see what's so great about him...I have nothing against the guy, he can teach and amuse his students well enough, but most of the jokes are pretty corny. On top of all that he appears to hold grudges against students who show frequent opposing opinions. He's probably my least favorite teacher this semester. However, I do give him credit since his students all seem to enjoy his classes...I must be the oddball.
Awesome, awesome teacher! So fun and friendly. It's been 2 years since I was last in his class, and he still greets me in the hallways!
Sometimes I don't think he cares very much about anything. He's just too cool + funny to be a teacher. Overall diagnosis: one of the awesome teachers you'll come across in H.S.
He's so easy to get along with and really made grade 9 gifted English a fun year. Great teacher.
nicest teacher - fun debates, my favourite teacher by far
great teacher, knows how to communicate with students
A teacher who knows his stuff and careers is a easy course
Lots of debates, a good thing for me. Enjoyed his class fully. A patient man.
Very nice, easy to get along with, but accuses too many ppl of plagiarising
Mr Way is the greatest english teacher...and cute too! keep it up!
Great teachers I preffered him for history but still better than most
