Hands down the best teacher I have ever had. I'm currently almost done my University degree, but I was just thinking how much she changed my perspective about everything. I had her for Grade 11 & 12 physics and I remember leaving thinking "thank god I won't see her again!". Looking back now, she's the best teacher/prof I have ever had. Her intense classes got me prepped for university while others who didn't have her struggled. She's more of a teacher for life than just a physics teacher!
If your objective is to scam some high grades for your report card, then she is not for you. Her objective is for you to understand the topics thoroughly. So simply doing the questions from the textbooks will not get you the 100 you're aiming for.
I was in the gifted program and we had many exceptional teachers, but she stood out the most. I have since then graduated from UofT Electrical Engineering program and I owe much of what I've accomplished today to her mentoring.
You can't beat maghami
There will be a million misconceptions about this teacher. Most people will say she doesn't teach. But do your homework, read the textbook, and be proactive. Her style is like university, She introduces the topic, the learning is up to you. Work hard
Best physics teacher, ever. Knows so much and is so helpful. Also a nice person in general and I always enjoy her class.
shes the best shes the best shes the best shes the best shes the best shes the best shes the best shes the best
her classes r ok when she's not in the room (which was basically all the time) and it would have been nice to see her teach us at some point
She is really cool. if Mr.Williams is the -ve charge then Ms. magami is always +ve and you can't compare these two. My advise to whoever has or will have her for physics is "Sit in the front".
Awesome teacher. Funniest person in school. Physics is so much fun with her.
Cool, smart, funny, and care-free. Although sometimes she gets off topic for quite some time.
She may make fun of you and yell at you, but don't take it personally. She's very fair. You get the mark you deserve. If its 89, then you get 89, don't expect to be bumped to a 90 for no reason.
Very funny lady. Smart and knows her stuff, but she's not good at teaching. Read the TEXTBOOK! do your hwk. WORK HARD. Easy labs, hard tests + popquizzes. She's very nice though.
pulls quizzes from nowhere and makes fun of a lot of people. However, you soon learn to expect this stuff and you see the insults as less personal. knows her stuff though and returns tests next day!
she attacks and intimidates THE ENTIRE CLASS for like the first month.. and doesnt teach for the first month and fails everyone for the first month.. then she decides to be nice to like 2 kids....
I can honestly say one of the worst teachers at this school. And this isn't just random hate, I don't understand why she feels that she has to verbally assault her students before she actually teaches
Shes does know herstuff, but should stick to physics instead of grade 10 science. Does allot of text book and demnands complete efficeincy from her class. And she's rather humerous
You need a lot of initiative to do well in her class. But she really does know her stuff, and is often quite funny. (Once you wait for her to stop yelling.)
ms. ghaem is not the beat teacher, i had to learn on my own. even though she picked on me and gave me lectures everyday, i found her to be very humorous
Great teacher. Learned more in her class during the first few weeks than all of last year.
Cool person, liked me but never gave me mark. I knew it that she does not give me mark the way I did things but she knew my answers were right!, significant digit!
unless you're in the phsyics club, she doesn't like you
