Not going to lie, she was a little overwhelming at first, but she's one of those teachers whom you grow to respect and cherish in retrospect. I came to the school with very limited French (could not understand much of her class), but because of her, I was able to skip two years of French at university and ended up graduating with a minor in French. She puts so much effort into her classes, and she's really witty.
Best teacher by far. Had the pleasure of having her for Advisory and French and was pleased with the results. I admire her teaching style and the pleasure she gains working with kids. She is always honest with her feedback and is not afraid to give constructive criticism. Although sometimes she can be strict, its all for the better learning. French is hard for many people and with the help of Ursula's teaching, french has been a problem no more. Overall I r8 Ursala 8/8 m8.
There are those who think French is easy, and there are those who think it's impossible. Thankfully I'm one of the ones who understand 90% of the things she says. I understand all of her jokes, and that's what makes her a fun teacher. She also never gives us homework and gives us time in class to finish. But, she is veerrry strict and old-fashioned. In the first few months, everyone was scared to move. No backpacks, no food, no drinks, no cellphones. Sometimes its still scary to ask questions
she gave us skittles..
She has a deep understanding of French but she can be be painfully boring and her personality can seriously clash with students.
Mme. Diem is one of the funniest teachers in the school. It's a shame there are only about two people who can understand enough french to get her jokes.
