I had her as my band teacher in 1986 (the dates here didn't let me go back that far). She was an absolutely amazing teacher and really helped me to get to where I wanted to be with myplaying.
Mrs. Bradley was one of the most memorable teachers I had in high school. She's not "nice" to some sections of the orchestra? She yells too much? Get over it. She gets upset because she cares and she wants to get the best performance from her players. I went to the Netherlands with the orchestra and she and Mr. O'Connor were caring, professional, and dedicated to making sure every person on that trip was taken care of. She has forgotten more about music than most of us will ever know.
Mrs Bradley and Mr O'Connor, I was in your class in 1999, but I still remember you. Thank you.
Best teacher ever! Only had her for Senior Orchestra - but those memories will last a life-time!
Mrs Bradley is the best! No matter if she shouts or gets moody, there's reason for it that we all understand. I learned a lot playing with her!
Mrs Bradley is awesome. I will forever be known as "cello", my brother "viola" and my sister "cello/flute". Hilaroius.
Can't believe Ms. Bradley is still teaching. I was in her class in 1984 (Grade 9 music). Sounds like she hasn't changed much at all. She was hilarious, and always had a smile. I skipped music A LOT but she still was kind to me. Very cheerful, friendly and caring. I also found her to be quite entertaining and funny. A positive memory from the mid-80s.
even though she (and Arrigo; I think they were tag teaming) yelled at me plenty, i became a better player because of it. and i think that was the point (Although, i think the same result could have been achieved in a more gentle way) I also learned to reply to "castanet girl". She was otherwise really nice and caring. she also thought my boyfriend and I were brother and sister. Highly amusing. I loved orchestra.
Ms. Bradley cared alot about the students. She of course is bad at remembering names, which we've become used to, but overall she was a great teacher who worked hard to keep Lisgar's good reputation up.
My most memorable teacher. Trudy Bradley made my highschool music experience wonderfully rich.
Most people who get shouted at are people who are usually naughty. If you're a normal person who tries to play well, she's very nice. She also loves teaching and that's important.
you really need to be nicer to people who can't play!!! and don't yell so much at the bases!! they aren't all bad!
She does seem to be in love with the violas....and she's kinda weird lol. But still...Lisgar came 2nd in province and lots of other stuff because of her.
very disorganized, but nice if you know what you're doing. "oh, I'm so sorry that I lost your final exam, but I found it again just in time."
Oh stop whining. She doesn't shout that much. At least you know she cares, and a lot of the time she's hilarious. (Though not always intentionally).
She's pretty nice to the violins and violas but yells at the bass and the cellos. If you know what you are doing, you'll be fine.
she's mean to violins and cellos, but she is nice to the violas!
she gets hyper a lot but overall she is a very nice teacher.
she really should retire.. she's not on top of her game.. she's nice.. but.. hmm
Gets the best out of her orchestra, and appreciates improvement
