He is a laid back but responsible teacher. His teaching style of using flipped lessons may seem weird, but it seems to work well for someone like me.
Physics is hard and you have to be willing to work hard to understand it, you can't just sit there. The flipped class was great if you're willing to work during class. The number of people who complain about his videos vs people who actually watch his videos is pathetic. Nobody watches them but everybody complains. Watch the videos, engage, ask questions and ASK HIM FOR EXTRA PRACTICE because that is the only way you will learn and succeed. Nag is always happy give you extra help if you ask.
I hate flip lessons! Telling students to listen to his 20 minute YouTube videos that he made 3 years ago, and handing us quizzes the next day, is not teaching. His examples are too simple and doesn't prepare us for the more complex questions on his tests. You cannot feel smart in his class and going to get help from him, sorta helps but it shouldn't be that hard to learn something. He's a smart guy and loves physics but not everyone can teach people.
Very funny and easy to get to know, knows his physics. He is known for his rants, but he doesn't make you listen... you can do your work during them. If you ask for help, you get the FULL response. He lets you work with others and on your own.
Although he basically lives at the school, he's a cool guy. He explains the real world, and unfortunately, if you're not in the mood for him, he will irritate you. But if you're patient, and listen to his stories, not only will you do well in the class, you'll find him actually really interesting.
Nagys rants are awesome it is really easy to do well in his classes if you follow his procedures perfectly
Talks WAY too much about unimportant things and doesn't spend enough time actually teaching. And is way too sarcastic and annoying. He's got an attitude that's like "How do you not know this already?"
heys a great guy i just cant stand his teaching...i miss the student teacher :(
