Will target students and pick on them throughout the semester, through sarcastic jokes and makes announcements to the class that are obviously targeted at (student). Rambles too much, has a predictable lesson structure every single lesson, and gives long tests with short deadlines (45 minutes or so)- and when you come to him with a concern he will get defensive, so I've found there's no point in it. There was some high points in his class but I pray that I don't endure another course like this.

At first I thought he was an ok teacher, but when it came to marking he made a lot of mistakes, and when you talk to him about it, he'll get mad and starts hating on you and making all these comments in front of the class and you can tell its directed towards you. when it comes to the exams and if he doesn't like you, he'll find every way possible to fail you. i really don't like him and hope I don't get him again.

He's an okay teacher as he is always there and is willing to help you if you need it. Some of the problem I had with him was that he was very passive aggressive when he talked to students. Also, the short stories he picked in his grade 12 course mainly dealt with human behaviour and psychology so if you are not interested in those topics, get ready for a boring unit. If don't debate about political issues with him and show that you are trying to do well, you should be good to go in his class.

He does not accept the oppinions of others. If you dont agree with what he has to say, then there is no way of arguing that you may be right. Youll just dig yourself into a deep hole of 'tom mcfarlane hatred.' Terrible techer.

I think he's very misleading. You think your getting good in his class, but then u get an essay back n see a 60% on the top of ur page.. i don't know if it's because he has personal issues with specific people, but he defintly knows how to single you out!

He definatly picks on people. I guess he's an old fashioned kind of guy, if you just sit still, pay attention, be polite and DON'T FALL ASLEEP he's a really cool guy. Bit of a hard marker though. You need a near flawless essay to get 80%. Good class discussions though and he can make some good jokes too.

He's an O.K guy...but as a teacher...not so good. He's too opinionated and he rambles on way too much. He wastes alot of time when we could be doing something else. And he picks on people alot.
