what can i say he is so talented. i love this school because of him! i never want to graduate i just to be in his class forever.
Rest In Peace, Mr. Swain! Your expertise and love of Canadian Literature will be missed. Passed Away May 2009
Hated his class at first and he gave me an unfair mark. then after telling him off. my next year got better and I was one of his fav's. Much better next term. loved his class
I hated Mr Swain's class when I was in High School because he was so tough, but now that I'm in University I realize that he just teaches like a Professor, which is good if you're going to University!
Ask him questions out of class and he'll be very helpful. Don't expect to be coddled!
I think that this guy tops the worst teachers of all time don't bother asking him a question because he can't answer it i have the 2nd highest mark in class and it is a 64% and i had a 95% last year
A key to success:Firstly, he will make you feel stupid. ignore it. ask question after question after question about assignments, and he will tell you exactly what is he's looking for, esp things he didn't mention to the rest of the class.
Hes horrible. i plagerized 4 times in his class and he caught me on the 4th and i got owned pretty good but still hes horrible and u can leave to the "washroom" for a really long time aslong as u get his trust in the begging of the year
He really challenges you as a student, which really helps for university. unfortunately i couldnt stand going to his class, 'cause he makes you feel like an idiot.
It is done this way, not because it's the right way, but because it is my way!
He is a really good teacher, which means he doesn't give free rides. If you actually want to learn English, take his courses. If you enjoy being illiterate, don't take them.
He's hard and he made me think. I may not like him, but I learnt a lot.Teaching is not a popularity contest.
He's a great teacher if you're a good student, and you actually want to get something out of his class.
Needs an attitude adjustment. There is no need to be patronizing when talking to students.
He once yelled at me while I was in someone else's class
