Too good for this world
He is the best teacher I have ever had he helps everyone to the best of his ability and he is the most caring person at this school
Mr Bohn is a pretty great teacher. He talks a lot, but really tries to help you improve your playing. He's usually a pretty relaxed teacher, but when he gets mad, he gets really mad. Just stay on his good side and you will enjoy your time in his class.
I was only in Mr. Bohn's class for about two weeks, but I have a lot to say about him. He tries to be encouraging, but there's something about him that terrifies me and makes me want to hide at the back of the class. And yes, he does ramble. A lot.
Easily my favourite teacher for my first year. Easily. He practically transformed my playing from barely being able to jump back on the French Horn to Being able to perfect the exam song. He is my miracle worker. Made me love music on a whole new level. His words of wisdom are amazing. I would love to be in his class again. Only problem that is his lectures are WAY too long.
He is a good teacher and very helpful, but every time I'm around the guy, I always get this strange vibe from him. Anyways, just don't get the guy mad, everything will be fine. Seeing Mr. Bohn yell is one of the most frightening things you'll ever experience in your life.
Talks way too much. Leaves no time for you to do any work at all in the period. Basically a really bad teacher who expects you to do all the work when his lessons take the whole period every period in every week.
He is not a bad teacher, although he picks favorites more then any teacher I have ever had. Sure in grade 9 he will give high 90s but heh once he realizes he doesn't like you 70s until grade 12
meh. he talks too much. meh. he leaves no time left in each class to do any work, so like you can't do anything in each of his periods.
good teacher! lessons often take forever and seem boring but if you try in his class he will give you a great mark on your exam and give you a great final mark!
Mr. Bohn was my absolute favourite teacher in high school. The passion he has for music is unsurpassed and he manages to share it with every single one of his students. Having been part of both Wind a
Knows what he's talking about, but often forgets that not every student in his senior classes are there because they want to go to university for music
my favourite teacher at westmount! bohn really knows what he's talking about, and supports me 100% in whatever musical endeavours i wish to pursue. couldn't have asked for a better guy.
Mr. Bohn is a wonderful music teacher! He is very helpful when you need him to be. I'd say he's one of the best music teacher ever !!!
best music teacher. he's soo helpful. and he acutally cares about you
Mr Bohn is mean. he yelled at me for using another flute. And he talks too much, unlike burnip.
Mr.Bohn is a great teacher. He does talk alot though but it is only to help you. He challenges you like no other teacher I have had! He explains things very vividly and is a great teacher to be around
Better of the music teachers, listens, does ramble, but generally very fair.
Very nice and helpful teacher. Does ramble on a bit, though...
Mr Bohn is probably one of my favourite teachers at Westmount. He tends to puish his bands alot, and challenge each and every indivudual in his ensembles and classes, however, in the end, we are completely satisfuied with what we are able of doing. he is full of surprises (like juggling and reciting shakespeare in chicago:P)I am very lucky to have Mr.Bohn as a teacher, and am looking foreward to having him for the next 2 years of my highschool life.
He's great. He is very passionate about music at Westmount. Some people say that he tries to force you to take music, but he's really just trying to help. If you share in his passion for music, you'll get along fine.
Everyday u go into class...and this guy cant stop talking. and he lectures u about the same thing each time. hes rlly nice tho and he explains things rlly clear
can be hilarious! mostly nice, and is helpful if you have questions. in general, carries a distinct air of self-importance a lot of the time and in order to exist to him, you have to go way overboard with the music-loving - and a lot of us don't have enough time for anything besides coming to every band practice, holding our sectionals and being reasonably proficient on our instruments. I think that should be enough, especially given that music doesn't come easily to everyone, and time is limited these days
I like him. He is really nice, and helps with all of your questions. He is so calm, its great! However, when he gets mad, you know you are in BIG trouble. Best music teahcer. YAY
Great teacher. He does pick favourites and is controlling. However, if you are in to music, he is the best possible music teacher. He talks until you understand everything and more. Keep on talkin' Bohn!
If your into music, this guy is great. But jif you expect to take anything, ANYTHING other than music, expect no help from this guy. He will shut you off from the outside world...The music clique stays hidden for four years. Sorry, but some of us have other lives dude.
Mr. Bohn is an awesome player who knows a lot about jazz and its workings. I feel sorry that I am no longer attending Westmount Secondary partially due to his absence
he's an easy marker in general, he talks too much. Like for the lesson for 3A, he took the ENTIRE period XD but he DOES give good advice...
If he thinks you have potential, he'll like you and you'll be a star. If you like jazz, same thing. Can be very manipulative.
He's always very calm. But when there's something he wants done he's passionate about expressing it to anyone who'll listen
Mr. Bohn explains everything so that it's soooooooo easy to understand
He's a great teacher, but I don't really like his personality. He kinda reminds me of a snake...
He likes you if you're dedicated, Schutzstaffel style. He doesn't like you otherwise.
I find his voice very soothing at times. Apparently he finds his voice very soothing as well.
He's pretty cool, but he sure does like to talk about nothing.
More than just a teacher...a very good friend as well
