I had him for Math and Computer Science. He is an easy marker but a bad teacher. He is a nice person but his teaching is not very good. IF you have him please drop it because he is hard to understand.
He is a teacher who likes to repeat and elaborate on a lot of things, which ends up taking half of the class, what he says to elaborate isn't always nessesary, and ends up taking the time that can be used more efficiently. When he gives you textbook work he sits down at his desk and doesn't circulate to make sure the students are doing their job, for me personally this wasn't a problem because I didn't need much of any guidance, but students who were not as proficient in math had trouble,
I was never really fond of his classes and teaching style.
My favorite thing is that he's very clear at what he expects. He's also good at teaching the basics to the class, and then letting you work and learn freely. I never felt held back by the class. He'll also answer questions if you need it.
DO NOT TAKE HIS COMPUTER STUDIES!!! He barely teaches, and you won't learn much in his class. He seems to check e-mails all day, and if you ask him a coding question half the time he doesn't know the answer. Good class for slacking off, bad if you actually want to learn. Go straight to grade 11 programming if you're serious. Worse teacher ever.
Very good teacher, always helpful and willing to explain things in depth one on one if you ask. I had hi my for grade nine math
He was a decent teacher. I actually didn't have him for either math or business. He is also a computer science teacher which I had him for. He explained everything to us but I didn't find it the most helpful. He expected us to learn everything ourselves which is understandable because in post secondary we won't have someone walking us through everything.
Chillest teacher, too bad Mr Talbot took the "teach" out of that word. In this generation, where everything is computer-based, you will learn nothing you didn't already know in Mr Talbot's business class. Fun guy, but I finished the class where I started. He doesn't pick favourites, he just picks least-favourites. Also he spends the first 50 minutes of class just talking about things he spent 50 minutes talking about yesterday. Future Grade 9's picking their courses, PICK TECH DON'T DO BUSINESS!
Unhelpful, really obvious on favouritism, "business" ended up becoming a semester spent trying to learn how to use photoshop, which by the way he didn't even teach.
He is sometimes vague, and if loud if we talk.
he is an ok teacher except he doesnt explain how to use any of the programs in business and he excepts you to learn how the program works on your own.
talks waay too much, and was teaching us and said he didnt understand the computer program himself.... in computer science :/
He's a boring teacher, and sometimes he acts like he doesn't know what he's teaching us =\
Mkay, Mr.Talbot is by far the best teacher ever. Math class is great business is even better.
Mr. Talbot is really cool and helpful, he paces a lot though..
1st, what is LAN doom? and 2nd, HE DOES NOT DO ANYTHING TO TRY TO FAIL EVERYBODY!! i got a 96% in his computer class :D ooyaa ;) hehe he's not one of my favourite teachers though..
he's a good teachure but if u want any help he doesn't help you
Mr. Talbot really knows how to use his graphing calculator and he really knows when you're trying to steal his graphing calculator. He's awesome though.
Pretty good teacher, lets us play multiplayer LAN doom when we are really good and finished everything :)
Good teacher, homework is little and very easy if you know how to do it.
needs to learn how to comunicate with students and clarify stuff. but he was a nice guy
