Ms.Manser is not as bad as everyone makes her out to be. She does grade hard but it teaches students to be more effienct and always do their homework. She is very nice and always willing to help! As long as you work hard it is easy to pull off a grade just as high as you'd get with another teacher.

Picks favourites, in the first 30 minutes of the first class she told me I was too stupid for 3U English. Speaks to students like they're 5. Way too hard a marker for high school teacher. Thinks low marks are from a lack of trying/lazyness. Doesn't realize that ALL uni. courses look at your Eng. mark, and that taking U Eng. doesn't mean you want to be an Eng. Prof. If are planning to go University for English, she is probably close to how profs mark, but for a high school teacher she's terrible.

Ms. Manser is a great English teacher. She can be intimidating, and you really, really should do your work because its scary if you don't. I love her stories.

I learn alot, but she is very difficult. Not very nice. Seems like she wants you to get a low mark and doesn't care about you.

Ms. Manser prepared my children very well for university. In fact, they helped their friends who were majoring in English be more successful. Anyone who doesn't like her, just doesn't want to work.

When students ask how to impove the only answer is work harder. A class average should not be considered good if it's in the 60% range, there is no way to get the mark you desever in her class! She doesn't seem to care that she's making it way harder to get into university and bringing down the amounts of scholarships for tons of kids!!

You can't speak to students in a condisending voice if you want them to listen to what you have to say! You are a very bad teacher! I have learned nothing from you, and i hope that you find another job because your ruining lives!

I have found her to be unbearable in the light that she firmly believes that if you are in her English class that she is prepping you for English in university. She does not take into consideration that all courses look at the english mark.
