Don't bother. In grade 10 I got a 90%+ due to an amazing teacher, but I had him for grade 11 and never got anything higher than a 70%. He's unhelpful, and it's very difficult to keep up with his teaching style.
This teacher is a nice guy overall but he CANNOT tech for you to understand. His class average is always low.
People call me weird but, Mr. Smith is actually my favourite teacher in FMM (so far, I'm still in Grade 10). I had him last year and this year for math. Most of the times you have to follow his method in solving, but his way of solving is reasonable and quick though. The course average is usually low, but if you listen to him and do your homework it's an easy 90 and above mark. PS if you've never had him, don't be scared. He's actually a very approachable teacher. So just ask! :D
Very nice man in general, but very rigid about the way he wants it done. Sometimes overcomplicates concepts, but gives you a thorough understanding of the concepts
He doesn't give us enough time for tests, and doesn't seem to see the pattern when our 3/4 of the class needs to stay behind to even partially complete his tests
cool guy, good lessons, but his test don't reflect what he teaches so thats why its hard
did very well in his class. he really helps you when you need it and makes sure you understand everything fully...also a fun guy to joke around with.
Sort of a genius...lol Very knowledgeable and practical. Percise and an excellent teacher. Goes beyond the expectations to ensure that students leave his class, not knowing math, but understanding it!
Smith is a good math teacher. He helps you get in shape, to those haven't paid attention to any math classes in the juniour years. I listened in Grade 11, all of this instruction i followed, got a 93.
he is a pretty cool teacher, as long as you pay attention and actually try you'll do fin in his class.
Had him twice. Grade 10 math and Calculus. I always did well in his classes.
Mr. Smith is one of the coolest teachers in our school. I'll never forget all the jokes and thank you for the highschool memories. Miss ya!...thanks again!
cant teach well. hes like deaf. didnt like me even though i was helping the girl next to me. favoured the guys more cuz he could relate to them.
