Ok I really like mr. rust. he goes beyond normal teaching. He applies what we learn to real life and he helps you with your writing. Great guy!
He's a really tough marker, and he tends to talk forever, i'm not sure if he's a really good or really bad teacher... he's one or the other for sure. I like movie days though
Mr. Rust is my favourite teacher ever. He's very pragmatic, but rewards students who know what they're talking about & stand up to him when he's being his most adamant about a certain point. If you deserve a good mark, you get a good mark, and that's just the way it goes.
Mr. Rust goes beyond just teaching. He has a way of captivating students and expanding their horizons. He tells great stories that are always applicable. Mr. Rust is easily one of the best ELA teachers I've ever had.
damn, i had him like 6-7 years ago, hasn't changed, if you played on the football team you were liked so i did well. good guy
As long as you participate and actually try in class he'll like you. I can't really complain because he gives me good marks!
Not helpful at all, side tracted too much, always talked about his daughter, wife, football etc. graded me extremely low in 10H, when now im in 20IB with a better teacher (better marker) i have an extremely good mark
I was in 10H to learn about the English language. NOT about football, his baby, his wife, his doctorate, or a pineapple vs a stapler routine. I learned little and he graded me low.
Has a good sense of humor. Will give you great respect if you treat him with respect and get to know him. Is tough. Quite intimidating at first, but these are not bad things.
dont get on his bad side, agree with him on EVERYTHING if u want a good mark. Once, i disagreed with him on something in the middle of the semester, and my mark "magically" fell.
Terrible. If you don't hold the same opinions as he does he will lower your mark. Little respect for students with differing opinions.
unoriginal. all he talked about was 'the passion of the christ' i don't need you to force your religion on me.
He tells a lot of stories and he will take his time to explain things to you. He'll try to make you succeed. He's a overall, nice guy.
The man is funny, his material is decent, but whenever he wants you do anything on religion...DON'T BE AGNOSTIC.
He demands the best from everyone, and it really pays off at the end of the year.
