To be honest, I graduated from high school over 10 years ago. When I was in her classes, in gr. 10 and 12, she was still studying in University. She was always completely clear about Uni standards and the principles of good academic writing. And I can safely say after getting a Masters and learning to love academic writing, she was 100% right about everything and I still use things she taught me when writing. Her criticism can feel intense and her respect must be earned, but she is legit.

Ms. Vidotto is my absolute favourite teacher. I learned so much in her class and she pushed me to work very hard and I produced some of my best papers in her class. I have had her for two years in a row now, grade 10 and 11, and she is amazing! Super funny and relatable teacher, and someone that I highly respect. It was because of her that I really learned to love english and am going to pursue it in university. She is an absolute doll, I totally recommend you to take her AP class. 10/10 gal.

Ms. Vidotto is a really great teacher and you always learn stuff in her class. One thing that is extremely true about her is that she is a super strict and hard marker. Anytime you do one of her tests, the highest mark anyone can expect is an 80. She can be super negative at times but that all has to do with getting you to think. Good times Viddy----ENG1D1.

I don't like her at all. She is completely cruel to most students in the class well favouring the very few. I agree that she is a good teacher but her approach to students in the class who don't understand her is horrific. I switched out of her class after the first month.

Two Words: EXCELLENT TEACHER!!!! She is really funny and she explains things to the max which is good. She loves, cares about and challenges all of her students. She has a passion for english. I would be lying if I said she was super easy. Tests and quizzes are very difficult and long. However, you will come out of it much stronger and a master at English.

A funny and kind teacher but too much favours the people with the same interests as her and is a really hard marker. Ended up with a 90 after the exam however!

Has strong favoritism towards students she related to herself and bases a lot of her assessment on the reputation of the student and not actual quality. Is a good teacher but I dont agree the way she abuses her power in the classroom to belittle kids who don't know her material. Liked her while in her class but looking back now found her teaching methods and overall demeanor very disturbing. She uses her teacher status to get back at character types that she doesnt like. Overall lonely human lol

Is a seemingly nice teacher at first glance, but don't be fooled. Marks INCREDIBLY tough, and makes super difficult tests. However you will learn to write a thesis statement by the end of her course

The assignments, tests and exam were hard, but you learn a lot and end up being able to write a mean essay. I'll never forget her obsession with One Tree Hill.

Very nice teacher, though harsh at times. Just when you think your essay/paper/quiz is good, it comes back, marked everywhere with red ink. Depressing at times, but a great teacher
