Honestly I'm not sure why people hate her so much. Maybe I'm one of the students that people are like "she has favourites" but I'm not sure. She teaches what she has to teach, she gives us enough problems to challenge ourselves, and she helps us when she either isn't teaching the class or isn't busy. She does her thing as a teacher, so as long as we do our thing as students, she doesn't give you "biased marks". If you can't switch out of her class, just suck it up and be as respectful as you can

She is a kind person, but really cannot properly teach material. Wastes a lot of time during class chatting instead of explaining things. I had her for M4 A math and I basically self-taught the entire curriculum that year (not exaggerating).

Ms. Della Maestra is the single reason why most kids switch either from A to B math or B to A math. On a test, I got 5 marks more than a certain student, but because Ms. Della Maestra likes the other student more she gave that student a higher mark. The only thing that I learned from her was that her life is an absolute mess. She once had a mental break down because people wanted to use cosine law on an assignment and she started crying.

One of the best math teachers I ever had. Gave very informative worksheets and classes were always fun. Really enjoy her teaching skill, and I would strongly recommend her classes if you can learn well on your own.

I'm not sure why people dislike her so much! She's kind, and is very understanding when you ask questions. Often she neglects to explain everything beforehand, but is crystal clear when you ask her personally.

Great if you're a terrible math student, terrible if you're a great math student. Highly vindictive marking. I can't believe we pay so much in tuition fees to listen to her blab about her personal life and kids. NOT RELEVANT. looks like these complaints go back 12+ years and she still hasn't learned that no one actually likes her!!

Brutal teacher, teaches nothing in class and is constantly late. If you get her you will have to learn the majority of the course outside of school.

I didn't learn a thing from her the years I had her!! She is always late to class. She gives us one lesson at the beginning of the unit, then gives the sheets, with no lesson and we have no clue how to do the later ones especially, then we take it up and she yells for not doing it like her BUT SHE DOESN'T TELL US HOW TO DO IT!!! Never stops talking about her allergies or her kids. She'll give you good marks if she thinks you think you're no good at math, otherwise you're screwed. Worst teacher!=

ABSOLUTE... WORST... TEACHER... EVER... ON... THE... PLANET... THANKS FOR MAKING A MATH LOVER HATE YOUR SUBJECT!!! Also, tells unpleasant stories about her kids... definitely not relevant... please actually teach us some math instead. Your tests are HARD and it would be nice if you'd prepare us.

She is very bad. She favours the try hards more then the people who are not as good as she wants them to be. Not to say having PMSes all day, and takes her anger on the students. One day, I got shouted at for asking my friend if they had an eraser. D:<

probably the best math teacher I have had at UTS. Most of the time she is chill and just jokes around, but when you want to learn, all you have to do is ask her stuff and she will calrify anything. When I was younger i thought she was a little lame, but this year she is great.
