I commented a while ago out of shear frustration and anger misdirected towards this teacher. I would skip out on homework everyday, then I got angry because my marks were low, it was just easier to blame the teacher than to actually make a change. Cornale's not bad, she's all business and does her job. You do the work everyday, you won't be complaining on this forum about the teacher anymore.
You can expect your children to have to teach themselves
She's hard to get along with and if you're the type that judges every teacher based on how they talk with you then don't take her class. If you're the type that cares about your grades and focus on how well a teacher teaches, then you'll be fine in any class, including Ms. Cornale's. She's actually nice; at the end of every unit test (all which are easy) you will see a picture saying "Happy March break" or "Happy holidays" or whatever the occasion is. She also gives stickers.
I learned a lot.
She expects a lot of her students, but that's not a bad thing. I found her helpful when I needed something explained to me. If you approach her with respect, you will receive respect in return.
Don't ever take her class, this coming from someone who did really well in her class... but you're gonna have to teach yourself everything. And don't ask for help... she won't.
She was a very mean teacher, she had absolutely no patience. She was also grumpy and spoke very quietly. I could not understand much. I don't even know why she teaches. I couldn't even go to her for extra help because she was very rude about it. She had good notes though.
By the end of the semester, you'll play your wrists like a violin.
Allow me to explain her lesson plan
1. Hands everyone a sheet
2. Projects same sheet on from projector
3. Reads the sheet WORS BY WORD
4. "Do page xxx-yyy, questions x,y,z"
My friend, who had her prior to me, told me to switch out immediately once when I told him I had her for functions. I thought he was kidding, I've never been more wrong.
PLEASE, hear my plea. If you or your child has her, switch them out ASAP.
She's very nice and I respect how she only wants better from her students.
She is a good teacher and willing to help but very expressionless and can be mean. As long as you can explain yourself well and use common sense you should do well.
no expressions, no excitement, doesnt like kids, swear she doesnt like teaching, gets angry easily, not very helpful, so rude, other teachers HATE her, not helpful at all. SWITCH OUT IF YOU HAVE HER
shes okay if she likes, you, but if she doesnt, you. are, SCREWED. she likes me luckily, but if she doesnt like you, good luck!!!!!!
Okay, her tests are not hard and all, but SHE DOESN'T EXPLAIN ANYTHING WELL.
aw, she so bad. if you just do what your supposed to be doing she shouldnt be on your case. shes actually not a bad teacher, i learned alot
Man oh man... she's okay at explaining notes, but is scary when you dont understand. She has a bad attitude and NEVER smiles or makes the class fun... I sort of feel sorry for her
As a parent and educator, I have never encountered a person more unsuited to the role of "teacher". Communication skills with parents are nil; I can only imagine what it must be like to be her student
awful. what else can i say? the worst class ive ever had to sit through. She's the most boring teacher ever to exist! And she can explain anything at all, have fun anyone who has her....
she could make a simple thing confusing. kinda dry, harsh words, but she really is a nice person.
She is much to strict in the way of kids talking during class. She is a difficult marker and will take of marks for petty and pointless reasons.
