The single greatest teacher I ever had in my life. I will miss him greatly now that he has passed.
All my life, I have remembered him in a very positive way.. He could be sarcastic if you aren't trying, but if you put some effort in, he was definitely one of the very best.
Was the single greatest influence in my academic career. Finished BSc, MSc, PhD. If there were more teachers like RJ than school would be a much more fun/interesting/rewarding experience.
Sad to see him leave St.Thomas but he made life interesting. Anyone interested in joining the armed forces as an officer, you can look forward to his lectures at RMC and St.Jean. Classic character!
Yes, you can do well in cegep even if you don't think he's a god. He does though, so why did he settle for high school? Maybe he's really not that amazing(GASP)
With the Dr. as i always called him, you either loved/hated him. you just gotta show interest and not slack off and he would be you best H.S. exp. sure was mine
he told us where Croissants came from! "We're having Machiavelli!" I failed his tests, but I loved his class so much. He told stories about his budgies.
BEST TEACH EVER! dont take any insults he says seriously ppl! he made fun of me a lot, but i learned tons from him, all i have to say is DR J YOU RULE!!!!!!!!!!
With this man gone, the school has lost a great teach!if he insulted u, it was all fun and games, made class interesting and really preped u for CEGEP and exams
A disgrace to his profession and his school. I'm glad he left.
A first class teacher and really great person.... thanks to her I made the right career choice.
very good teacher...too bad he retired, he really prepared u for cegep
its sux he retired....he used to call me church...and although scary at times, really cool....esp. when it comes to sheep
Such a sweet woman. She actually made Math fun, which is impressive! People didn't treat her with the respect she deserved, but she was awsome!
One of the best teachers--he really prepares you for the work outside of high school. Without him, best of luck in Cegep, people!
What an amazing teacher, It's too bad he's retired now, I feel bad for those who have hirstoy now, what an inpirational guy, prepares you for the real world
Nothing but bad memories. I hope he can sleep at night?
sir u were th best... always made us laugh hopew u still teaching for a couple more years....
Incredible teacher. He makes it so interesting. Don't take any insults he says seriously though, don't be afraid of him. He doesn't bite, unless you desrve it.
He made his class so interesting, it was amazing. He used funny little antics everywhere within the lesson. Only history class which i found interesting.
Before Dr. J, I was a meek, innocent student. He's the reason i learned how to speak up, and I am SOOOOOOOOO grateful for it.
Looking back, I believe he was a very poor, if not harmful, adult role model.
I disliked him very much, which says volumes about his teaching style
Difficult at times, but so worth it. Made sure we knew how to read and write well. Go see him at lunch; he really likes talking to students.
He's a great teacher, he's interested in what he does, he makes what he's teaching so real and he makes us all laugh.
Had him for a teacher 14 years ago and I still remember things he taught- so he must have been good.
