When you understand why Roger Brickman asks of you what he does, it becomes crystal clear that you will understand Calculus at the end of the day. He challenged and encouraged me. I appreciate a real teacher. To the slacker teachers now, pay heed!
Mr Brickman (as we called him in the early 1980s) was unrivaled, teaching at levels universities could only dream of - high expectations, very hard, not very sympathetic, but a great teacher !
Very dry, knows his math, but might have been better suited as a professer at university then a "teacher"
Was a pretty tough teacher. He liked students to have their homework done and come to class prepared.I found him to be helpful and fun if you had the right class
