Rena Hanchuk is absolutely the worst teacher at Archbishop MacDonald. First of all, her marking is clearly inconsistent. How? some may ask. Well last week she handed back two essays to me, she assigned 1 a 90% and another 68%, now this wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that it was the same essay! When i confronted her, she averaged the marks and gave me 79% and confiscated my essays.
LOLOLOL at last guy apr3 dont get raiped by her i know i wouldnt LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
A bad teacher overall. Hopefully during next year's French Immersion reshuffle she gets the boot or something. She'd do much better teaching the unprivileged.
one of the easiest teachers you will have in highschool. very clear, knows what she wants, if she likes you .. bonus :)
Miss Hanchuk is okay teacher. She interacts really well but I just think she marks too hard sometimes!
She definately chooses favorites, and her marking isn't really fair because she never tells you what an assignment is out of so you can lose a lot of marks for not putting enough. She gives away a lot of food though...and paper. She repeats things in a way so they don't sound repetitive and so what she talks about somehow manages to stay in your head. She is also pretty good at keeping people interested in what is happening in class.
has good stories to tell, but lots of homework and assignments out of the textbook and gives lots of pop quizzes.
She is good at keeping me interested. I find sometimes she can be a tad mean and to harsh. Her marks are very fair though and she does not drill to much homework at you.
She's a great teacher and always finds a way to keep you interested.
Ms. Hanchuk is awesome!!! I love her! She is a wonderful teacher that is always willing to help! She has a bunch of heat things that have to do with history that keep you awake! 2 BIG THUMBS UP!!!
she's so adorable! gives tonsss of worksheets though. but thats a plus.. because i wouldnt have learned anything otherwise. also homework marks are wonderful. but the tests were all phooey.
Mrs. Hanchuk is a pretty good teacher and explains the material well, although she definitely has favourites. It is pretty easy to get a good mark as long as you do your homework.
i love her shoes!!! shes a great teacher, she's so easy, just do well on your worksheets and your'll be fine, she marks soo easy on essays.
Social 20 was a breeze in her class, as long as you did your homework.
Mrs. Hanchuck is one of my most favorite teachers. I don't think I would have down well in Social 20 without her. Too much time on the French Revoulation though
SUch a great lady. A lot of people don't like her, she definitely favours Ukrainians. Listen in class and her tests are a breeze. Great woman.
Drilled the basics into my head over and over, but interestingly enough, the tests never seemed to deal with basics. Always perky though, so at least she doesn't seem as bored with the subject as you sometimes are...
not bad of a teacher but sometimes a bit of an attitude o n spent WAY too much time on FR Revo. but overall i liked having her
Good Teacher... Had her in Grade 10 loved her teaching style where although it was boring at times she made me understand with repeatitiveness!!!!
She gives lots of notes and hard exams all around good teacher
Ms. Hanchuk is lots of fun! She's always perky! But her exams are tough!!
I don't know what the problem is with most of you people, but Ms Hanchuk was a great social teacher (I'm now graduated, in post secondary)
'bout as helpfull as a doorknob...? meaning very? how else would you open the door genius? ...she repeats and tries hard...helpfull is the word
She's extremely energetic and passionate about her subject. Helped me appreciate and understand the French Revolution- awesome!
gets mad about sorta off topic qs. tries too hard to be funny. repeats EVERYTHING over and over.
she talks so fast, and refuses to answer questions that are the least little bit off topic. she knows what she's talking about, but things are so dry w/her
great for the most part...love her explanations and teaching, they're always clear and understandable.
