Worst teacher ever. He is a hard marker. His labs and tests are very stupid.
I had to put in a crazy amount of work in this class but I took so much out of it. "When a system at equilibrium is subjected to a stress, the system will readjust so as to relieve the effects of the stress". That is one of the many things I remember from that class and although it was a hard class in the end it was worth it. Plus he's a hilarious guy
He's a sickerman
Did poorly in his class, didnt really put the work in. You have no one to blame but yourself. Looking back, wow that was a great class. Learned way more from him than 95% of all those teachers. Talking more than just reading off a textbook, if you have the chance take this mans class. thank you for the experience, Mr. Krevs
"People are afraid of what they don't understand,"
-Jonathan Kent, from Man of Steel
I have graduated 5 years ago, but "Superman" is one of the most important teachers at Brebeuf. You may experience frustration, but you must overcome it.
Prepare to change and be changed.
straight up, through ALL the hard work put in day after day , his class was an amazing experience to be apart of and im glad i decided to take it in 11 and 12.. I took away a lot more than chemistry lessons from his class, but lessons on life and religion that i still think back to this day. Hard work pays off, without it ull get nowhere in this life believe me. krevs is a cool teacher and hes also jokes.thanks for everythin sir and i know you read these too haha. it was a honor.
The only thing I remember from Chemistry is that enthalpy is a state function. But from what I remember from his class I could write pages and pages. I had to relearn everything from scratch in university but the habits and the mindset that he inspired me with are so valuable. His lessons on life, faith, and common sense will teach you more than his lessons on chemistry (which are really good). He's not only a good teacher but he's also a good man.
CHEMISTRY IS TOO EASYYYY, and I love Krevs! :) and believe me, university is much harder than his class.
Mr Krevs is tough, but a really good teacher. He actually teaches - not like 3/4's of the science teachers at Brebeuf. Look at their ratings. It says it all.
hes a good teacher but he makes u do every little detail. "front pages, special graph paper... etc.. but if ur looking to do good in universtity he a good teacher
I'm glad he was difficult. Isn't that what real life is? I graduated 5 years ago, and he is still one of the most important teachers I have ever had. I had him for Gr. 12 religion, science isn't my thing. But I found him helpful and appredciated the fact that he would stay after class, for an hour sometimes, to answer questions I had.
Just like in real life, do the work with absolutely everything you got, ask for help when it's needed, and you'll do well.
Amazing teacher. Guys who complain are the problem. Get your work done and you will see you were the problem.
Mr. Krevs is the best chemistry teacher ever. For those who complain he is hard, just wait until you do chemistry 1st year in university. You will breeze through it all because of Mr. Krevs!
Great guy in general. Good sense of humour, but he does overdo it a bit with the religion lectures doing chem class. His notes aren't really helpful if they're all you look at. Labs are kinda crazy but easy. Great teacher overall.
great teacher in grade 12, but was so challenging in grade 11. Tough, but its all worth it if you put in the effort. Very clear in his explination and has a very well-rounded mind.
Great teacher. I got a low mark in his class, but honestly I deserved it. Sir you were right, if we do the work we will get a better mark. You learn more then just chemistry in his class, you actually learn about life and its purpose/meaning. For people that will have him in the future, make sure you do the work and take everything in that he says
Mr. Krevs is incredibly informed in his field, and is able to skillfully answer any questions provided by his students. Although he does give a lot fo work, and has a few problems with his teaching method, overall, he's a great teacher and a great guy. However, expectations are unbareable.
The best teacher I ever had in my otherwise forgetable High School career. Learned a lot from him, still have my notes from his Gr. 12 Religion class.
Learned more from him than 10 other teachers could have taught me. But yet again, for gr 12 subjects, he should really go easy on the marks..we know much more...but if we can't get in...what's the point?
I'm sorry but Mr. Krevs is one of the best teacher's I had in highschool. He's tough but extremely helpfull and is always there for his students. Those who say he sucks are just lazy and want a free credit
krevs the coolest teacher i met , i never in my life met a teacher tht would give up his own time just 2 help a student. n i will always remember the KREVZI method
He's a good teacher. I would like to emphasize on the trees we are killing haha. I am still not sure whether i'm in gr 11 Chem, or 2nd year university chem. sigh.. ah well, back to doing those unit expectations.. -___-
Pretty cool guy. I didn't have him for the grade 11 course, but he isn't too bad so far. He knows his stuff, he explains, and he's always there for help. By the way, the Krevzi method is amazing!
KREVZI METHOD! AWESOME TEACHER. GREAT LESSONS. AMAZING LECTURES. Especially when he'd drift into a discussion about Religion. Wished he could be my chem prof instead of retiring. There'll never be another one like you sir!
very good teacher if you pay attention, definitely knows his stuff. His course prepares you well for univeristy (im breezing though 1styearchem). only thing i would critique is more emphasis on organichem is needed.
despite what he says, his teaching still doesnt prepare much for univeristy (speaking from experience). still, he makes you work hard, which definitely prepares you fo uni
no way...he got cool??? he is the hardest teacher ever I mean really I can only do some many assiments before I pass out, but a good teacher, not helpful wont answer questions...
give pretty good insight, btw science and religion goes together, there must be that connection because many scientists are christians
You do realize the library printer ink toner will be all gone because of me?
If you work hard in his class you'll have no problem in university chem. Thanks Mr. Krevs! wish you could publish your notes..
Sir... by grad... you still owe me two PRINTER TONER! one for gr11 chem and the other for gr12 chem! In the future... give handouts for once!!!
I think that he made us print out too much stuff i used loads of paper and ink now my printer is busted
there is no such thing as the common good. humans are too diverse for us to all possess the same goals in life.
O gezz.... GIVE HANDOUTS FOR ONCE!!! I WASTED a TONER A WEEK FOR HANDOUTS!! Clear teaching, strong Catholic values, good all around teacher
Great guy.... very smart, you can learn a lot from him.
Morons. Krevzi was coined by a former student not him. Good teacher, too much printing out stuff though. Clear enough, helpful, staunch Catholic zealot though.
Keep up the good work, i suppose. too many pages to print...
works very hard. teaches well. tough but fair... he is however, a staunch Catholic zealot. ignore everything but the actual course stuff and you'll be ok.
Hey guys. Remember what he taught us. Look for the evidence before you make claims, even profs. Read Behe's book. Evidence is there for his claims. Thanks sir.
Thanks for all your help. Krevzi method was coined by a former student. Some form,er students do not listen in class.
If he becomes a religion teacher, He'll probably claim that he "invented" Catholism by calling it Krevzism
I agree. Krevs should be a religion teacher. If he wants to teach science, he should stick with the facts and evidence. Or else, he's just being full of himself
A man of science cannot believe in Behe. We have evidence for evolution! Behe's ideas are contrary to scientific fact! Krevs should be a philosopher instead!!
For a chemistry teacher, he knows rather little about biology. Evolution is fact, whether he wants to accept it or not!
Not bad teacher. Hopes he tells everyone that he did not invent the Krevzi method. It's actually called the John McMurry Formula of Formal Charges
One of the few teachers that actually is interested in having his students actually learn! What he taught in class was useful in unversity engineering classes.
No one in University has ever Heard of the Krevzi Method It's apparently called the McMurry Formula of Formal Charges! The truth is out! Plagiarism !
Great Teacher! I hope he knows its wrong for him to assume credit for The Lewis Electron Dot Formula by calling it the Krevzi Method!
Inventor of the INFAMOUS Krezi method, need I say more?
