Honestly then kindest most happiest person ever. made history super great. favourite teacher this sem!
he's too good for this world
Always made class fun and interesting
made history the most interesting class ever. i loved him so much - taught the work in a fun and engaging way. tough to get super good grades in his class though. consider yourself lucky if you have him for history
On the one hand, Mr. Petrusa is very positive, willing to help you, and encouraging. On the other hand, he does not have lessons that are planned very well, he is an extremely and ridiculously hard marker, and he seems quite condescending most of the times. Our whole IB History class ended up with 85s for midterms, accompanied with his patronizing praise. We also took 5 identical notes on only the successes of the League of Nations, which lasted for probably 2 weeks. Not a favourite.
He's a really nice guy, and he definitely knows his stuff, too. Made history kind of fun, and I learned a lot in his Gr. 10 course. Sure, he may not be the easiest marker, but he doesn't give you pointless homework. An understanding and awesome person: one of the best history teachers in the school.
Great teacher, history was one of my favourite classes
Nice guy, decent marker, good teacher and very understanding. Hes always smiling too :) I liked having him as a history teacher!
fantasic man. likes sarcastic people and tells some funny jokes. provides good learning methods and gives reasonable times for assignments due dates.
great teacher, very helpful, always pleasant(dont know how he could stay so happy but not complaining). Also, makes history very interesting
He's so cool! He'll help you when you need it, he's nice, he assigns work that makes sense and he teaches in a way where if you pay attention you'll understand. =)
awesome guy. fair tests. fair marker. great teacher.
mr.happy pants! lol he always has a smile on his face. sometimes his class is boring but he's a great guy
Had him for pre-IB history in Grade 10. He really knew his stuff, but as said, doesn't really give perfects but tests are fair. AND he's like permanently happy :)
PetruSHA! I love him so much, what an awesome guy. Marking was completely fair, though he doesn't like perfects and will take off 0.1 of a mark. =D He was funny and enthusiastic, great notes, fair tests, knew his stuff. Perfect combination of lax and strict.
I have him right now and so far he's OK. The Always smiling comment is right. not the easiest tchr but who cares..im cool wid it now..good tcher OVERALL.
Peter Petrusa was the best teacher I ever had. He was always helpful, always smiling, and he's one of the reasons I'm so excited to be a high school history teacher. Go Petrus! You're the man. <3
I really like mr. Petrusa, no matter what anyone says. You can do so well in this class if you LISTEN. he talks for a reason. I've had him in gr10 + now in grade 12, i've learned a lot..thanks sir!
You cannot argue with him. He's always smiling (which is a good thing) He's very nice, so there's no way you'll be able to argue with him without feeling guilty. Not an easy marker
BORING! This man made me HATE history. I have never had to endure a class as boring as his class. His assignments were so pointless. He was nice though.
unable to reason with him. always a smile or look of extreme disappointment. cannot teach very well although he knows his material. final mark comprised of few entries.
Talk about difficult multiple choice...
A nice guy with a good personality. Fun assignments and lots of oppertunities for good marks.
I liked this class - simple and to the point, and he tries quite hard.
This class is so boring! He talks for the whole period. He's a nice teacher but the class is really bad. We do really pointless projects.
