He taught me 2 advanced physics courses.
I now practice engineering. I was hoping to look him up. Is he still at Doyle?
The man is absolutely brilliant, but he can't teach to save his life. He just doesn't understand how kids learn. The guy doesn't give straight answers to questions, and definitely doesn't teach with a
His was the first class I have taken that actually frustrated me. Mr. Bon is a great man, however, he seems to enjoy the confusion of teenagers. To be metaphorical, he had thrown me into a deep pool, without any knowledge on how to swim OR move, and expected me to survive. His style may prepare one for the big sandbox, but 15, 16,17 year olds are not ready yet. Confusion and frustration should be treated with assistance, not convoluted, rhetorical questions. Straight answers and guidance would be great.
Mr. Bon offers a good preparation for what is coming in university, although it is easier to deal with him than a professor at university. If you want to get a rough idea of what is the work load at university, then you should be in one of his university level classes. Generally speaking it is easy to be in his class.
Mr. Bon is a great teacher. He has prepared me to enter the sandbox for big boys and girls.
awsome teacher! Mr. Bon, thanks for always making me answer my own quetsions, and thanks for challenging me with new ideas. i learned a lot from you!
although i failed his classs miserably since i did not go to him for help when i did go to himn the odd time i completely understood it all and hes an easy going guy too
Mr Bon ran around the gym with me fifty times, back before the major renovations. I didnt think I could do it, but he encouraged me the whole way. I felt great.
Why did his class NOT prepare me for University whatsoever?
