Pederson is one of the best math teachers I have had as a grade 11/12 student. Ms.Pederson knows what she's teaching and will ALWAYS offer help outside of class to make sure you do well on the exam. Her quizzes are easy as long as you pay attention, and she allowed us to correct the mistakes for full marks. People that don't like her are usually the people that skip or don't pay attention. Overall, Ms.Pederson is a very good math teacher !
She doesn't be teach anything you anything/doesn't plan lectures/will not help you if you need help, her version of helping is making you feel stupid in front of the whole class and she actually thinks that she has helped in some way other than just embarrassing you publicly. Also gets mad at students for being "disruptive" then has a 10 minute screaming match in front of the class being even more disruptive than the person that was laughing. Overall horrible teacher wouldn't wish her on anyone.
I loved having Pederson as a math teacher, we became really good friends and she made sure that she pushed me just enough to do the best I could without making me fell stressed. She helped me get my first "A" in math. Her notes were easy to follow and the homework wasn't unreasonable, it was very manageable. Overall I loved having Pederson as my last math teacher before I transferred schooled for my grade 12 year to purse a career in something that Aldergrove didn't offer.
I absolutely loved her. She was wonderful, even though sometimes in class I became very frustrated with her comments. She's one of those teachers who are wonderful to run into in the hallways AFTER you've had their class. They treat you like a long missed daughter/son. Respect her and TALK to her more than "fix my mark" and she'll love you :)
She never helps the students, she'll say that she'll be there after class to help you and then ditch ya
I believe that a teacher should not base grades and helpfulness on whether or not you bring her a coffee every day
Ped is a good teacher, but sometimes forgets that shes a teacher and not your friend... she talks too much and doesn't finish the lesson every day, therefore making me get worse grades then I'd wish.
It's clear she does not listen to whomever is speaking to her. She's very argumentative. She feels she is a GREAT teacher!? My child is not the first to acheive far lower grades under her style.
no help for kids...no explaining n' unorganized rushed notes
YOU need to spend more time at school, and not take so many days off, it screwed me over..People need a teacher who can help them and is at school..
good teacher id say, cares about your grades and trys to help you pull them up.
Great Teacher! Very good notes and really helps me understand.
She doesnt know how to teach Math and shouldnt be teaching math, her famous answer is look in your textbook whenever you ask a question.
doesnt explain things well at all and things on overhead are too hard to understand and teaches way to fast due to lack of time from her talking so much about things that have nothing to do with math
