Irving Osterer is one of THE BEST TEACHERS I HAVE EVER HAD. He knows what he is doing, has a lot of proffesional connections and has a great overall knowledge of his subject area. While with him at the school, he gave me many opportunities to expand my artistic abilities. Whether it be attempting to build a life size plane out of cardboard for the arts show or giving me the encouragement I needed to enter an arts contest, Mister Osterer is there for you. He lets you pursue your dreams.
He expects you to work in his class. He doesn't have a lot of tolerance for people who fool around or don't do any work, but if you actually want to succeed in his courses then all you have to do is do the work and you will succeed. Sometimes can be unclear of what he expects of your work, but overall he is helpful and encouraging.
BE a FAVORITE. other wise your screwed. Seems very chill at first, lots of talk not a lot of walk. He's got amazing connections, but he's okay at teaching art.
knows wut he's doing and a rly nice guy. but also expects a lot from u, but in the end it makes u a better artist =D
Good guy -- he loves what he does. He knows what he's doing too, and actually works as a graphic designer. Really brings an interesting aspect that you wouldn't get from most art teachers because of this. I can totally believe that his students have been sucessful graphic artists. He really wants you to do well, and he's happy if you try hard and do your work. You'll actually get a lot out of the course...
just amazing. GD was my favourite class when I had it.
a great teacher. does so much for his students. Goes out of his way to help others. Thank you Mr. Osterer.
He is the most coolest teacher i have ever met. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be in high school right now.
Best teacher I've ever had...he's good to talk to, and really helpful...very easy marker
