At the beginning she seems fun, but she them plays a favorite game and doesn't help at ALL. Switch out of her class before its too late. Shes the worst omg.
i'll will sleep with her everyday
I know she probably won't read this, but: She knows her stuff. I can respect her for that. However, she doesn't know how to interact with others. Its her way, or no way at all; she CANNOT except that she is wrong sometimes and uses logical fallacies (which she teaches against) to prove her point, and when pointed out, she ignores it. Shes also extremely strict and confrontational. Take her knowledge and toss it into someone meant to be a teacher, not a researcher.
Odette is a good teacher, I don't know why people hate her. She knows her stuff and is very interesting, she expects us to be mature and do our work and listen, and we aren't so that's why she is strict on us. If you pay attention in class and ask questions, and be on her good side then you'll do just fine. Her tests are very straight forward too. Nothing to worry about, but always Come in FULL uniform and never be late! Overall very smart teacher
In my opinion I thought that she was a great teacher. She knows what she's talking about.
She was decent...scary-strict though...she knows her stuff, just doesn't know how to express it in a fun way
Horrible teacher. Seriously, I am so happy I only have a week and a half left with her. If I had known she was so crazy and that she was the only teacher to teach this course, I wouldn't have took it!
One of the best I had at Goetz. Students got discouraged by her "strict" demeanor and showed her zero respect because of it. She's doing her job and respect her for it cause many Goetz teachers don't. It's simple: respect her and her knowledge. It's amazing what she knows and can teach you with a smile if kids learn to show interest. Most imp, she preps you for a postsecondary mentality: not crude but where you actually need to show interest in what you're there to learn, not just mess around.
Ms Odette is too smart to be teaching. Not too many students in my class got her jokes because I hate to say it but they just were kind of immature. They seemed to confuse bored with just not getting it. Oh well. Not everyone should be going to university or college. I felt challenged in her class and looked forward to it.
All I want to say is that she is the worst of the WORST teachers ever!! Borringgg as HELL! if u need a rest just take a nap (trust me the min u enter her class ur half a sleep)...
monotone, unfriendly, but atleast you have the chance to nap in her class!
Unfair and cannot relate to her students. Miserable old bat.
Boring sometimes, but you can learn alot from her lessons (phil at least); she seems very smart. Her tests quizzes assignments aren't that bad if you actually study do hwk listen in class. (y)
She's very strict. one time id idnt have a collared shirt and she sent me to get a dress pass which took the whole period. and she hates it when you go on holidays.
second worst teacher ive ever had in high school, incredibly boring... and VERY strict on uniform.
I have her for philosophy, if you know your material well you can easily score an A in her class. She talks a lot but she teaches extremely well and explains very well. Her tests are fair, not hard.
if u have her for philosophy i feel bad for you :( trust me drop the course if you still can and take religion or retake it with another teacher
she definitely knows her stuff but she is very monotone and boring, she's at that age where she just doesn't care anymore
She's a good teacher in the sense that she can teach, however, I can only disagree with her when she says "You MUST hand it in on the day its due or I won't accept it because it isn't fair to the rest
had her for gr11 history. inspiring lady. made me want to learn more about history. she can be strict and sometimes mean but respect her. wen she tlks about history you can tell how much she loves it
good teacher smart not the easiest but shes great may play favourites but easy to be one of those
shes a very smart woman. noes how to teach. very organized and doesnt favour kids.. she may seem boring at first but as she gets comfortable with her class you really get to see that shes a cool lady
Seems to bring the History teaching style to what should be an open-ended philosophy course. Lacks the clarity and vision that is necessary to teach true philosophy.
I had her for civics, very boring. She will literally talk for the entire class some days. Although I still got a awsome mark.
Boring, historically incorrect on some subjects, it's either her way or wrong! She punked me out to!
i had her for world history to 16th century.....she's nots a good teacher, very boring and an extrememly hard marker
I had her in philosophy. The course is pretty tough and she doesn't make it open ended really. Hard Marker but not impossible to get a good mark. Study well for test.
passionate philosophy teacher. but a hard marker. picks on the littlest details to reduce marks on.
She is surely a nice teacher but as im a new student here in canada and she was the first teacher as she taught me...it was hard. Philosophy just doesnt get in
She's a great teacher. She knows how to get students to listen to her. She's not the easiest teacher, but she's not scarily-strict either. She's cool.
One of the best history teachers I've ever had. What she teaches is to the point and she teaches with effectiveness and clarity.
Usually unreasonable, no tolerance. Humans make mistakes!
It's so easy to do well in her class if you just show up! Sure she's a little low-key but not everyone can be a Power, right? Give her a chance. She's a pretty good teacher.
do not argue with her, and never miss class, know Kylex
Boring. I bet she tries to make it interesting.... but it doesn't happen.
