Sensei is a wonderful teacher - she may seem strict but she really cares about her students! Her tests are fairly easy, you just need to prepare for them and review your textbook. Hope she keeps teaching Japanese :)
Sensei is an amazing teacher. A lot of students say that she is too hard, or that she is too mean, but that is not the case. Yes, her class is a hard one to be in, however if you stay on top of your homework and study you will do exceedingly well! Sensei cares about her students a lot, and has helped me face in class anxieties. She is an amazing teacher, and has definitely made an impact in my life, and will be one of my most favourite teachers ever.
By far the best teacher I've had. Her class is quite difficult. Even so, I thoroughly enjoyed the class. :) I went straight through 9->12 and though it was rough and there were struggles. It feels as though you've really accomplished something once you're done with it. She is only strict because she cares. If you actually talk to her one on one, she is a perfectly fine human being. Definitely recommend her course to all of those that are looking for a university-workload-level course. >:)
Hard Teacher. Unclear Explanations at times, but after the course is done, You feel great.
hard teacher, soemtimes her explanations are hard to understand and she talks really quietly. BUT once you finish the course, you'll feel like you actually done something, and your happy with it.
yes, sensei is very strict and her class IS very hard. but in the end its all worth it. u would feel the sense of accomplishment for the 1st time in ur life. and hey, ya`ll humiliate each other too!
She works you like a dog, but it's all worth it in the end. Though she has a tendency to berate kids in front of the entire class, she genuinely cares and wants all of her students to do well.
Compare to other jpn teachers, we.re lucky to get the best one. and of course u gotta work hard in this class, if u don like it, den drop it ASAP. trust me, once u kno sum jpn, its SO worth it.
She's strict, but she's strict because she cares. When you're finished with this course you're competent in Japanese. Not an easy course, but if you wanted something easy you would take Spanish.
if you are taking 9 i would recommend a diff language especially if you took this because it seemed "interesting." be prepared to devote like 90% of your hw time to jap 10 11 12. its a lot of work and not worth the time
i think she's one of the best teachers i've ever had. she puts pressure on students but if you talk to her one on one she is really supportive. she just has high expectations.
Japanese is VERY HARD, so if your marks are low, it's not her fault. She's super nice and encourage you to speak. It's good to have an actual Japanese teach the language.
Too much memorizing! Stupid conversations. nice person though.
