Did not like her at all. She was always grumpy, only liked the kids who were great at math and refused to help the others. She would call on you randomly, and call you out for not knowing the answer. The right thing to do would be to help, but she clearly doesn't understand that. I switched out of her class the first chance I got, and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Mrs. Riley made math a lot easier and more enjoyable than she did.
She is very helpful an always helps you if you pay attention in class. She always tries to be clear and has a good sense of humor. She prepares you for tests and answers all your questions.
My son has never had an issue with math until this year. When he asks for help his concerns are ignored. I thought teachers were supposed to be there to help students and guide them in their learning, not ignore them because they don't care or can't be bothered. Seems to be many students that feel this way about her...hmmmmmm.
Picks favourites, and if you dont understand math she has little patience or sympathy for you. Very unconcerned about teaching it properly, and is worried about teaching it fast.
Not exactly the best teacher for mathematics by far, but decent. For I do agree that she is VERY picky about form, and does not even glance at the homework beforehand, some of her methods are useful.
Definitely don't like her. Doesn't explain well enough.
I hate math this year. I hate how she picks on people and plays favorites. I really can't stand it when she asks me a question when I don't have my hand up though.
