Miriam MacCormack
I took her English classes more than 10 years ago. She was one of the best teachers I've ever had and inspired me to get my Phd (although not in English).
She is one of the best teachers I have ever had. Yes, it is very challenging, but being in university noe english is so much easier. If you make an effort to get the help you need, you will do well.
Very good teacher if you listen and try to do well. My advice is to ask questions and to take advantage because she prepares you so well for university.
hardest marker you'll ever have and she plays favourites
Hard, a little scary at first, but a great teacher. If you're doing well in her class, you know you have a reason to be proud.
holy HARD. i am in university now and my 2nd year english courses are easier than hers! she certainly prepares you, but i think it's a little too much.
Brilliant, cool, funny, friendly, and extremely helpful. You can go to her every day and she will never stop helping you. Face it guys: English can be hard, too
Really enjoy learning from her. Its a once in a lifetime experience to learn from a phD, you guys
Has a PhD, REALLY knows her stuff. If you get an 80%, you did very well. She can be funny occasionally but she's often strict.
She knows her stuff, she's just the hardest marker in the world.
She's an extremely hard marker, but not because she's trying to be cruel... just keep in mind that in her class, an 80% is amazing...
meanie! WHY IS SHE TEACHING GRADE 10S WORK THAT SHE'D NORMALLY TEACH OACS?! jeez, hard much?! >_<
