only had her for grade 9 English classlong ago; really cared about me
Tough as nails, and well-hated by many. I respected her because she taught me the importance of quality and pride in your work. I'll never forget the look on her face when she disapproved of something
Mema didn't suffer fools gladly. What I learned in her class I've used in later life (am on University Faculty now) and will always be grateful for being lucky enough to have had her as a teacher.
Mema taught me English long ago and I recall the uncomprimising perfectionist with appreciation and respect.
Students don't often realize that Mema is one of the best english teachers until they enter the workforce. Mema prepares students for a career. Career impacting qualities not found on most teachers.
Intimidating yet extremely helpful- will take the time to help your writing improve if you are willing to listen to constructive criticism. Best teacher I have had at St. Charles.
5ft tall dynamo. She can control a class. Very interested in developing students. A teacher in the true sense of the word.
Most intimidating 5 ft. tall woman in the history of mankind. If she were a superhero -Corrector!
