I had her eighteen years ago. I wouldn't be a university professor now if I hadn't taken her classes.
my marks were all in the 50s/60s. i started sucking up to her and they all became 80s/90s... the quality of my work didnt change one bit.
She helped me improve my writing a lot. She really knows what she's talking about when it comes to creative writing.
been a few years since Writer's Craft, but I it was an amazing class. I think it had more to do with the students sharing their work than her. could be unfair.
she was the coolest teacher ever! her class was awesome. not!!!
i think shes pretty nice and her class is pretty good but about the favorites...she kind ofwont listn to you if she doesnt like you or wut u have 2 say
My favourite teacher at Oakridge! I remember in grade nine I would always stay behind after TAP (HATE IT) and talk about our cats!
Martin knows the difference between good writing and bad. Too bad there aren't more students who realize this.
Martie's alright. She taught the material, but the sharing circle was a bit much. She picks favourites, and marks them easier than others.
She's not fair ever. If she likes you, she gives you a high mark! And she ignores you if she doesn't want to hear what you have to say.
very tough, but fair!! gotta love the sharing circle!! hehe!
