Though she is very strict, and she does yell a lot, Ms. Hogan is very helpful, and will assist her students whenever she can.
Mrs. Hogan was a great teacher. At first I did not like her because she picks on people that she knows are struggling. Throughout the semester this really helped me because it made me strive to do better and participate. Shes helpful and patient if you respect her. If she sees that she is actually trying, she will be more than happy to help. She's probably one of my favorite teachers at NHS. Just give her a chance and you'll see what a great teacher she is.
She is not liked by her students at all, not one of them. Students are afraid of her and cry when she's not there from sheer happiness.
Should try a different approach at teaching. Less conflict, less yelling, more helping, thus more love.
meanest woman i have ever met in my life ... why are you a teacher if you dont like teaching.. or kids?
Had her in both grade 9 and 10...I didn't learn a thing!!! she yelled at you for nothing and was too lazy to walk to your desk. Fav quotes..."who's haveing a chatty cathy moment?" or "4 on the floor!"
WOW.... definetly an strict and doesn't know much bout calc.. sorry!.Stick to being an accountant and stay away from teaching. Please for the good of the future!!
she can't really explain herself very well. i mean, shes a smart lady, its just hard to know what she means since she can't express her thoughts into teaching
Mrs Hogan helped kids who wanted to learn if your a slacker she wouldn't help you. its not favours its whos going to do the work and who's not.
She's a good teacher, but hard to get along with. She's very loud, and aggressive, so stay in her good books.
I enjoy math a lot, and I would go out of my way to avoid ever seeing that woman again in my life. She should be fired for the way she treats students.
Pulled me out of the class to yell at me for being too quiet! Should go back to being an accountant and quit teaching
Needs to accept shes not perfect and is sometimes wrong
