Mr. Leupold is THE single greatest teacher I ever had in my studies across the world. He is not only brimming with passion, but always ready to answer any question. His standards are high to anyone who expects to coast through life and have a bright career in carpentry. His class was always a legitimately fun and learning experience.
Kids, if you have do not care about the world farther than Oxbow: You'd better drop his class and make room for someone else who does.
His classes could be hard, with a lot of memorization of facts and dates outweighing the Big Picture. The difficulty was good preparation for university though.
Tough class, but learned aloooot and had lots of fun and laughs
Stesses minimizing writing, has a good sense of humour albeit he runs out of lines if you have him for too long. Very good with history and teaching but is a blatant pro-Ontarian. Worth the struggle.
Definitely the best teacher I ever had, and at Luther, that's saying something. He expects everyone to work pretty hard, but he made me *want* to work even harder than that.
The best teacher I have ever had. Smart, funny, and immensely qualified. I had a wonderful experience in his IB class. He was the inspiration behind my decision to study history at university.
an absolute asset to Luther! He expects that you kinow alot, but he also is very good at teaching it to you.
One of the most inspirational teachers I've ever had. He made history enjoyable - a feat in itself. And the man's endless pool of knowledge is crazy!
His class was hard, but he was amazing to listen to. Very passionate guy, about both history and jokes in poor taste.
Very thorough in his history knowledge which rubs off on those he teaches.
liked him a great deal, wasn't afraid to be friendly, learnt alot in his class
Great teacher, though difficult he makes it fun to be in history. My favourite class.
