If you can learn without a teacher’s aid you will be fine but he doesn’t really know how to teach and when you have a question he really looks down at you.
I believe he’s a terrible teacher that doesn’t care if his student understand the material or not. I really don’t understand why he’s a teacher as he doesn’t seem to want to help his students
he cannot teach he is simply confusing almost everyone is failing his class and the class average is below 64%. I wont get into a university if I have him again. he also cant write
He doesn’t care about his students and is not worried that half of the class is failing
All of his class averages are below 60%. He can not teach, he can not explain. He simply does not care. He complicates simple explanations and does not take the initiative to help students that, he can so clearly see, are having trouble. Math is a hard subject yes, but he makes it exceedingly impossible. Coming from someone who’s gone from a 91% in math to a 58%, trust me when I tell you that you need to haul yourself to guidance and switch into another math class as soon as humanly possible.
It's only been a couple of months into the school year and majority of my class, as well as his other grade 10 math classes, are failing (or boarder line failing). He does not explain, and when taking up questions from the homework that students had trouble with, he almost always says "all of this is just mechanical work, folks". He does not teach, he tells. He prints out examples from the textbook, the ones with the solution already done for you, and complicates the explanations.
Does not know how to teach. The class average for grade 10 math is below 60%. A quiz or a test is taken at least once a week and lessons are rushed, and content is not explained clearly. This causes students to do poorly on the tests and quiz because they do not know how to do it. When giving lessons he only gives the steps but not the work itself because he says it is “mechanical” and the students can do it themselves. If you are in his class, drop out.
Mr. Kubisz was (and still is) the computer science teacher for grade ten students. For the first six months, he taught us about... the basics on computer programming. After that, we were bombarded with useless films that don't pertain to the present and computer acronym tests that were written to "boost" the class average.
Soo yeah. He's approachable, but doesn't really teach after a while. It's not his fault, rather the flawed curriculum our government has.
He is a nice teacher and is friendly towards all his students but he can be kinda careless at times. He teaches well but a lot of the times he leaves us classwork to do and proceeds to do whatever he wants to. Also he can take a long time to mark certain things and will give easier tests/quizzes to boost the class average if it's really low, which is a plus.
I think he's too nice for compsci. He stopped doing coding cus all his classes are doing bad with actual coding. Its a shame, because all his tests on computer hardware history etc are just massive word banks. I think he needed to explain the very logical beginnings of how coding works. He should offer more individual help.
a great teacher.
This guy can't teach.
Mr. Kubisz was my remedial summerschool and can i say, he's one to beat. He's an astonishing teacher that really knows his stuff. I still struggled in summerschool but ended up passing in the end bc of his great teaching skills. He's a really good teacher, he always takes up homework help, motivates you to do better and will go beyond what is asked for in a teacher. He is one of those teachers that seem like they really care. His tests are pretty hard but if you study, you're good. Great teacher
excellent excellent teacher, actually teaches and can learn from
This teacher passed me in gr 11 math, deserves all 5 stars
Gives lots of hwk, and he does rnadom checks, so you have to do all of them. ALso there's classroom marks which can be a difference between 79 and 82. He's test are pretty hard, and you really need to know what you're doing in order to do well on the test. Overall a pretty hard teacher
kubisz knows his stuff and is pretty easy to approach. he's a really really great math teacher. but good luck on your homework and tests, he's tougher than the other teachers and gives out way more work so you better prepare.
If you have kubisz in grade 9 or 10, GG you're doing 10x the work of every other student. He might be able to teach, but his quizzes and "classroom marks" are ridiculous. Homework checks were the things I dreaded the most in my entire academic year. His class is much harder than others, so if you study for the exam you'll probably get a good mark. His requirements are crazy hard though.
Haha, used to hate him when I had him but now I wish I had him again, at least this teacher can teach.
Mr Kubisz is such a boss, always helpful, knows his stuff, very very smart. He knows how to interact with students, and is always very very nice and caring to me.
Awesome teacher, really helped me understand my stuff. Marks hard and really hard tests, but overall he teaches really well and shows how there are multiple ways to solve a problem.
its a hard class but he definitely teaches well, if you honestly don't understand something you should just ask him (: he's really patient and he'll explain to you until you get it, he's nice!
He makes me realize that math isn't a subject that I can slack off on (where I had in previous grades). However, he realizes us to know these weird shortcuts for doing math, which make us ease off on the real understanding of it. But definitely helpful; you can rely on him to really teach you math; all you need to do is ask =). He knows his stuff.
He's.......... okay, but he expects everyone to understand everything though...........
Kubisz is horrible. He teaches straight from the textbook . He helps after we fail a test, he talks to fast and is not clear at all. Everyone hates this guy....but hes nice i guess
He's pretty good, he knows how to explain stuff. The sad thing is that he marks homework. But in his class I think he teaches good and doesn't make many mistakes
So not easy. He marks h/w for god's sake! He knows how to teach though, and he explains things well.
kind teacher, willing to help except not going to unless you ask. doesn't review / goes on without caring if you're struggling
he is quite hard, however an excellent teacher and will help you should you require it; perfect teacher for the Reach For the Top program/club @ ACI
He is the hardest grade 9/10 math teacher at thats school
He's a nice guy, but too many quizzes. Although, I guess that shows how much he cares about his students; he wants to see if they can keep up and how they're doing. However, I only passed w/ 50%.
very nice teacher..had him last yr for grade 9 math....teaches very well, makes things very clear...without his teaching, id b failing this year
i think kubisz is a great teacher!! hes funny at times, and always eats, although i failed like 5 of his quizes, hes a kool teacher!!
heyhey...DUN H8!! u cant stand this guy when u hav him, u miss him badly when u get sum1 a thousand times worse...*cough* Chwang *cough*...all in all, not 2 bad
not that bad of a science teacher, there are worse out there
hez a really nice guy buh can't teach dat gewd compared some oda teachers
