*answers phone* "McDonald's can I take your order?" He's a great teacher and a great guy over all
Thanks for coming out.
Mr.Branson is one of the best teachers i have ever met. if your respect Branson he will respect you back. But, i encourage you to not to get on his bad side.
He gives everyone 100% in assignments as long as you submit them on time. He is a pretty chill teacher. Just memorize the glossary at the end of each chapter and you'll ace the tests.
A great teacher but past his prime. As he approaches retirement I feel as if he doesn't care as much as before. Very chill teacher and his classes (provided you are willing) teach you a lot, but it is almost all self-learning (lectures are rare, for the most part reads from textbook or just chills). The wisdom I gained is why I like the class.
If you disagree with his views (ex. if you support Trump) I feel as if he marks you more severely and finds excuses to dock marks.
mr. bronson is he best teacher, he is a nice person and give respect and he will respect youback
He is a very bad teacher. A GREAT person mind you but if you dont share his view prepare to fail. Dont take philo as an "interesting elective" like me or prepare to have a 70.
I love this guy
He is the most knowledgeable teacher out there. Get on his good side, do your work, and pay attention because he has a lot to offer his students. He was one of the only teachers that prepared me for university.
Teachers like him are few. He'll take you under his wing if youre a good kid. Wish I went to class more then anything. Don't be stupid like me and you'll benefit :p
Awesome Guy, But pays no attention for people who don't share his views
the two ratings below me are spot on. he has no tolerance for any kids that don't take his view. i can't stand him and could not have been happier when i was done his class. don't take philo.
RUDE guy. if you're not interested in philosophy, he'll hate you. period. and if you don't do your homework during the first week, he'll want you out of his class. i'm not kidding.
Amazing teacher....makes you think a lot which is great. He helps u get better. Best of all he helped me with my drumming, and I am much better. Can't get a teacher like him, one of a kind
Hands down, the deepest teacher I ever had. There's a lot to be said about him but to sum it up, he's a good teacher that knows his material but isn't too easy when it comes to teaching philosophy.
Deepest guy I've ever met. Had him for gr 11 world religions, and even some stuff that we discussed in that class just made your head spin. Rewards effort, just an amazing guy. Plus hes a sick drummer
hes a great teacher, makes things interesting and I enjoy his stories..however Im a bit intimidated..i feel like whatever I say to him may sound stupid cause he is so smart
Philosophy is for the guardians. Bronson recognizes who is interested, not who is smarter. Advice: Read, listen to lecture, re-read. Loved the class, did poorly(my fault). Bronson is real.
I find that Bronsons doesn't care about his slower students. He only teaches a lesson, if that, and just sits there the rest of the time and reads a book. He also needs to change his views on life.
Truly inspiring teacher; utmost respect for him. Treats students as intelligent people with valuable things to say; teaches us to think critically & form own opinions, which is sadly rare. Thank you.
you dislike him because he frightens you. bronson is a microcosm of the real world. he comes across as bitter only because he wants you to wake up and conceive of the harsh reality you're living in.
There are those who can and do, and there are those who cant and teach. Big ego, bitter, picks favourites, belittles students, im top of my class in uni and believe me it was no thanks to him
Bronson knows his stuff. He DOES teach, you just have to pay attention, take a lot of notes and actually do your homework(read the textbook). He prepares for uni, don't comlain
dude,,r u high? hes the best teacher in our school, its true that he doesnt really teach and all, but he also doesnt care about what we do, thats y hes the best lol
Bronson favours the brown nosers and critizes anyone who is not willing to be a suck up.. very bitter and overuses sophisticated language as a way to make himself look superior to students
He's an amazing teacher. He has experience, and he treats students like people, like adults who have brains. Philosophy has really struck a chord with me... thank you sir. :)
Bronson belittles others & has too much of an ego... obviously he's a man afterall! He goes on and on about having a hard life! He really needs to get a reality check.
Mark Bronson is the reason I am now at the graduate department in philosophy at UofT (by the way, one of the top in the English-speaking world).
hated this guy, he has zero respect for others, makes fun of people and makes people feel stupid..he cant teach worst teacher i've ever had!!!!!!
Great in preparing you for university. However not very approachable and does play favourites. Though work hard and want to be there and you will do well.
BEST TEACHER EVER! He has to be one of the most intelligent thought provoking people in the world. He always made me feel smart and encouraged me to work harder. Amazing teacher.
didn't care for his attitude, (and no I never failed his class)-intelligent? possible, but he sure has an odd way of showing it... seems to play favs
This guy is only of the wisest and intelligent individuals i've ever met. Learned a lot from him. If you ever get him as a teacher, you are VERy lucky.
Bronson was great in and out of class. He could quite possibly be one of the most misunderstood teachers @ loyola, underneath his intimidating exterior, hes a great guy/teacher
got a high 90 by doing NOTHING! he's soo awesome! he actually got me thinking (*gasp*) for myself. probably the only teacher to prepare me for uni. U ROCK, BRON
amazing teacher, deep class discussions man, killer drummer
I think Mr. Bronson was one of the few teachers that I have very little good things to say about him. His teaching is mediocre at best. I found he was not easily approachable and even less helpful as the year progressed. I find that your either on his 'go
He is a great guy and is always willing to chat and give great advice. He's difficult to understand UNLESS you know the material. Definitely worth it.
One of my best teachers. He really prepared me for university. He got me to think about things for myself rather than just telling me what to think.
Very well versed in subject matter, and daily life. Suggest studying with him if possible, particularily if seeking serious study of humanities or improve writing
