Other people complain about her and her tests, but i personally had her for two years in a row and shes the best. Her tests have a certain pattern to them and are really easy as long as you study because she never gives out essay questions. She marks assignments and tests on the day of, so thats a major plus :) Her notes are really helpful and detailed. As long as you have a passion for history, you can endure her classes. Honestly so nice as long as you are respectful to her.
Great teacher. Very knowledgeable. She makes you work hard though, but that's a good thing.
Shes a nice person she just doesnt know the things she teach too well and she is terrible at explaining things
I was on her bad side at first, I wasn't sure what her expectations were so the first few assignments and test weren't great. I went in to see her, to get her to spell out what she wanted. Ever since she's loved me as a student and I understand her so much better. She is a VERY knowledgable lady and will always make time for someone that needs it. She can teach you a lot about the subject you're taking and about life in general. Great teacher!
She is a nice lady, and a pretty decent teacher but once you are on her bad side.... n like you just look at her in the wrong way do not hand in one assignment or just one thing... -_- she makes SURE U ARE AWARE THAT SHE DOESNT LIKE YOU. But she is a good person. Not gonna lie.
Best History teacher I ever had. She has great ability in explaining lessons.
She seems like a nice person, but as a teacher, I don't know, she's mediocre to sub-par.
How can you possibly like a teacher who forgets three students on two field trips? And what about how she plays favourites?
Participate in discussion, do all reading, go to class, don't try to be the "cool guy" too much... and you'll do fine. A little extra work to make your assignments interesting and pretty, an it's 90s.
She's so nice! But only if you're nice to her <-- makes sense. She's not too good at teaching, but her class is still interesting and your marks actually reflect how hard you work.
She said there was no ancient civilization in africa. I tried to reason with her... but since I wasn't actually in her ancient civs class she ignored me.
umm eee aaa practivally sort of ya know...can't teach this...All that aside and me arban is my lover. Shes amazing because she gives me perfect on all my assignments.
um..uh..um..one of the worst teachers i have ever had, she doesnt know how to pronounce anything, and she can't go 5 words without saying "uhhh"
Although she is often very generous, i think she really must develop some new lesson plans rather than reading from the book.
Mrs. Arban's courses are interesting, and she helps when needed. The only fault is minor: when teaching she sometimes talks slowly and stutters... still good.
Knowledgable and explains her thinking. She's ready to help if you're ready to ask. Stutters a bit, but once you get past that her class is a lot of fun. Work~
All she does is read, it's pretty boring, and hard to keep from falling asleep. Also, she always uses the word "sort of" when describing definate things
Field Trips = GOOD; Reading the entire class until everyone falls asleep = BAD
Does she use other teacher's history notes? All she does is read from a sheet of paper, although she does seem to know some info, GET RID O' THE NOTES!
Shecan speakperfect English.a great teacher.BUT She picks favourites. She reads. Her marking scheme is very erratic. She needs to be more objective, that's all.
She really is a great teacher. Yes, she can pick on certain students, but that's only if they deserve it. She's great.
takes 4 hours to do the attendance and still doesnt do it right
Can sometimes forget things, is very knowledgable about what she teaches.
She's a great teacher if you actually listen to what she's saying
