He's okay, its a well known fact to most people that if you do well on your first couple tests or quizzes he doesn't even bother marking the rest! My friend got a question wrong on a quiz and he gave her 100%! He babbles a lot, says random things. One time while I was writing my test he started speaking in Arabic to me knowing well I do not even speak Arabic. Overall he's quite knowledgable and willing to help you if you need it! Just kind of strange..
super easy marker. if you write a lot in your test answer he won't read it and just give you the mark. he thought mercury was the hottest planet but gave me good marks so its all good!
hard to understand, doesn't give clear instructions or help. he still gives pretty low or high grades, passed with a 83. friendly If you're a good student. probably my favourite teacher at sdss
Did not learn a single thing in his course, but got a 96. He will ignore students questions, change test dates, take 4 months to mark a test, and mark things in the most erratic ways. His tests are copied right out of the book, and all he tries to teach us with is powerpoints that he reuses every year. He doesn't know what he is teaching, or plan ahead. Despite this, he is still my favourite teacher ever. SHALABY4PREZ2016
He does not return emails or phone calls. will not provide any help over and above what is required of him. He does not treat the kids with respect. Stouffville High should be ashamed of having teacher like this working at the school.
Clever guy, I'm sure. Absolutely abismal teacher. Doesn't communicate anything to students, changing tests and quiz dates without any mention, terrible at explaining topics, very picky grader. Grading doesn't make sense. He dropped people's grades based on the topic of their project, after he gave us a lost of topics. I could go on longer but it's a waste of time (much like his class). Turned me off chemistry.
Not a good person. He doesn't teach well, randomly tosses us homework, and doesn't really know what he's talking about. The class is fairly easy, but very boring, no assignmentz, and only one group activity so far.
He once taught us a lesson in the middle of a test. Beautiful accent, hes the egyptian heisenberg. Also you can fight for your marks nd he'll give u it regardless to whether ur actually right.
Mr. Shalaby is an awesome teacher! He is such a funny guy and teaches the curriculum really well.
I had him in summer school, he is the best chem teacher ever.
i think hes awesome, clearly knows what hes talking about, funny guy too
He can be really funny, but doesn't teach much. Got 90% in his class which was awesome! grade 11 chem was a joke and a half but it was awesome
Dude is jokes. I actually think he's a good teacher or it could be that chems easy hmmm.
Great teacher. I learnt a lot. I only got a good mark because I was one of his favourites though. :D
shalaby likes to talk to himself but he is still funny
in a class of 20 something he could pronounce 3 names. too lazy to look at anything you hand in, annoying- stands over you well you write. bad breath.
pretty funny dude, I know his real name ! you see just because he favored our class he would trust us, very very dumb but funny because of it
He was a very good chemistry teacher. Gave me an 82% but I only ever showed up for half of the classes so I can't complain. Wish I had him for g12 chem.
I think he is the worst teacher i have ever had. He couldnt keep my class under control and had to bring in 2 extra people to help him. I didnt do ANY work and i passed. so i guess that was sweet.
amazing teacher, learned loads, doesnt pay much attention to the work, kinda dumb (to see if the bunsen burner was on he put it up to his face) but very very funny
Ha, Funny guy and excellent teacher!!!!!! But...pays too much attention to the stupid kids in the class. Doesn't hear me yell out the right answers all period.
i think clarity it a key aspect in teaching..one thing hes lacking lol
If u all would stop laughing at his unclarity of the english language maybe u all would understand what he was saying and, good luck in post-secondary.
Hes a nice guy, hes really funny, but he has some clarity problems. Hey, he's egyptian
He will never read this until he learns to read the english language
hes not a bad person, hes just gotta explain what hes teaching
