I had loskot for both English and family studies. She is very knowledgable and passionate about what she teaches. Although she gives very little leanancy and no second chances. I would definatley recommend her family studies class as it was truly one of my favorite.
I've had her for Socials 9 and Eng. 11 H. Based on my PERSONAL experience, she is a wonderful teacher and woman! She is energetic, reassuring, and very open with her students. I believe she highly values a SINCERE EFFORT (and respect, of course). If you simply show her those two things, than I doubt you will ever see her bad side. I am shocked to hear so many negative comments :( I hope everyone can have the same memorable and positive experience with her that I did.
I took Eng11H / Lit 12 with her this semester and it was..... fine.. i don't know actually. People have been telling me that she gives bad marks, but in my opinion, she's fair. However, if you don't like speaking out loud during discussions, you won't like the marks you're going to get. She does, however, show her feelings about the students with her facial expressions, which she probably does not notice. Overall, I'm neutral with her. I don't hate her, but I don't LOVE her.
She is very against religion and judges people for having a different opinions. She is the meanest teacher in the school and does not teach because she has limited knowledge of teaching the course. Everybody in her class hates her. she never tries to understand your feelings and always thinkthat she is right and jumps to conclusions. She favours people and if u are not on her favourite u are dead. she discourages students and when students ask her a question she answer very vaguely
An amazing teacher who sincerely cares about her students and is one of the fairest teachers I have ever had. She genuinely thinks about everybody's different opinions.
A teacher that definatly loves teaching. However, she is prone to getting aggrovate easily, I wouldn't call it neccesarily "mood swings", but at the same time she's really testy. do the work to the be
Irrational, unreasonable, and unproffessional. She let's her emotions get in the way of teaching. It seems as if she doesn't want to be there. Can be very condescending.
i think mrs.loskot should try just.. try to control her mood swings.
she's alright, but the mood swings are an issue...plays favourates, and controls "class discussions" with an iron fist.let the class participate no and then...
I think Ms Loskot is really nice and a good teawcher. The key to her classes is to PAY ATTENTION and to not talk back...and that's just common courtesy!
i enjoy the energizers we do. she also lets you redo assignments to get a better mark the second time.
one question for ms.loskot:"Which house landed on your sister?" ...
She is moody. when she is in good mood she gives you good mark and helps you very well, but when in bad mood... pfff! don't ask her quesions.
i enjoyed her class, she expects a lot but that's not always a bad thing
She is good at what she does BUT has an arrogance to her that is beyond words. Get your head out of your _ _ _! Not a very warm and kind person. A SNOB!
she is quite nice and i had fun in her class, but she gets pretty moody sometimes!
I've always found that she prepares you well for your final exam and for the next year of english. Most people who don't do anything think she's a hard teacher
Miss Loskot has a very positive personality, generates stimulating conversation and really pushes her students to think. And excellent teacher.
Always happy and positive, class discussions are always upbeat and interesting.
Very moody, and doesn't put the effort required into preparing for her classes, which leaves students behind in the curriculum at the end of the course...
