I had Mrs. Shcherban for grade 9 French and she wasn't bad! I enjoyed her class and I think she's reasonable with teaching and marking. She tends to get a little picky with grammar but it doesn't affect your mark that much. I don't know about other subjects, but I felt like I learned everything I needed to know from her for French class.
Ms Shcherban is sooooooo nice and she lets you do a lot of fun stuff but trust me, if the class misbehaves she goes crazy and screams. But she is really really nice and popular and she really understands u. But in French, we spent like 1 month doing review and 1 mont hdoing unit 1 (there are 8 units) then we squeezed the lsat few units into the last weeks. I got a 75 in french, she rarely marks stuff and when she does, u better do good! The exam is so easy she gave me 100% on it and I didnt study yoo!!
Great teacher, we did NOTHING in all her classes. Just sat and talked about something. Funny thing is, I actually learned stuff, too. She's cool, knows her stuff.
Ms Shcherban is the best English teacher I've ever had. She marks my essays fairly. I was never that good at writing either until she taught us how. She discusses essay writings with me patiently even though it takes a lot of her time. I so wish to be in her class in Grade 11 again =)
i had perugini in grade 9 and so im really used to lax teachers, and ms shcherban is one. she's really nice, although she's really hippie-ish and not into the technology so she kinda bashes that haha. but she's a really easy marker, and i ended up with a 90 in her class. she loved my essays apparently. i never really was that good at writing until her class. occasional mood swings, but its usually alright.
She is a nice teacher and all, but she has no clue what she is teaching. She is a really easy marker, but once its time for exams, she does not help students understand all aspects of the course......
She has mood swings, illogical marking schematics (she gives one word answers out of two marks), presumptuous attitude (glance at your agenda and she'll assume you're doing other course work), controlling (she'll yell at you if you so much as make a single sound in a presentation), disorganized (the essay that was worth 30%? didn't happen), and quite inarticulate for an English teacher (just count how many times she messes up people's names). Teaching clearly wasn't her dream job, so she takes it out on us.
She was a great teacher. We always got to watch movies on fridays. She isn't the greatest marker and we barely learned anything in class.
u r the best teacher is the world and the nicest. u r one of the funnest teacher in woodlands i hope u will stay at woodlands for a long time.
She might be, actually she is a hard marker, but u do learn in her class
our classes move at the speed of one sentence an hour.
