Mr. Pedersen isn't bad as a person, but try not to get him as a teacher. He skips steps so its hard to understand what he's trying to teach. We hardly ever do board notes on the actual concepts, just random examples. Often in class we get one example done, then you just sit around. This leaves you feeling unprepared for the test because he doesn't cover all the concepts.
he's a cool guy but he does skip steps but he makes you think, im 17 so naturally i dont like it haha but he pushes me and i think he wants me to do will ill try not to let you down sir!
I absolutely loved Mr.P as a grade 11 math teacher. However, I only recommend him if you are a strong math student. He goes through things quickly, but if you are good at math then that won't be an issue. Wish i had had him for grade 12 math....
He really is a great guy, and means well. His class is always fun/interesting. But you get the feeling that he doesn't want to be a math teacher. He skips steps, and it's extremely difficult to learn from. If math isn't your strong point, try to switch out. My average dropped about 15%, and I AM trying.
good guy. sure that number junk he puts on the board can confuse the hell outta you, but if you suck it up, princess, and ask him to help you, he cares. so yeah - you actually gota work eh.
Mr. P rocks! Hooray for the best drill in the world! The AB baby! Yeah!
Great guy - hilarious and nice. But avoid him. He skips steps, and doesn't explain at all. Lots of good kids failing. If you get him, get a tutor too. Mr. P -become a science teacher! THEN you'd rock!
Was teacher for grade 11 math in grade 10. Skipped lots of steps. Nice guy. Good person. Teaches like Madill. Very university like. Avoid.
hes a nice guy, but i dont understand a thing he says in class, and he gives HORRIBLE notes
DOES NOT THOROUGHLY EXPLAIN THE STEPS IN THE PROBLEMS...IM SO LOST IN THIS CLASS
I don't think he's all that great. He's a good person, but not a very good teacher. He skips as many steps as possible when doing things on the board and is very difficult to learn from. His notes aren't strong enough and he wastes a lot of time every class. I have 90s, but still, he's a difficult teacher to learn from. He has a nice turtle though...heh...
finally a math teacher who can get his point across quickly and effectively and still be funny and easy.
cool guy, i understand him, but then, i like math.. soo...
does stuff on the board in like two seconds and expects us to actually learn
math aint always the most exiting subject if ya kno wut i mean, but hey! at least he gots a sense o' humour!
good guy..dont always understand wut he teaches though...extra help with him works though
