Ms. Ross is a perfect example of what not to do if you want to be a successful teacher.
She loses her temper quickly, doesn't support students that are falling behind, assigns work in the last 5 minutes of class, and even mocks or laughs at students if they answer incorrectly.
She is incredibly nice in the halls, but the second that you get into that classroom, she doesn't care about you at all.
Shes a good teacher, but at times grading is.. Well, its hard to explain but when it comes to ELA I understand its difficult to grade. The way she grades is okay, but at times Im not sure if she is grading based off how good she thinks we can do, or how good she can do. I feel like its a bit of a mix, because at times students do try their best but their grading is lower than it should be, at least in my opinion. She is nice, but temper is lost quicker than others. But its high-school, I get it.
Mrs. Ross can show her kindness in the hallways, but in the class NO! I feel like when kids don't know things she talks bad about those students and laughs about them because it looks like it. Makes some students feel stupid. She is a very rude teacher! I would recommend if there is a different ELA teacher to get the other one or talk to the principle with your parents about her. I don't like her at all.
Trust people when they say that she is cool in the hallway, but not the class. She is not very supportive, and looses her temper way to quickly.
She is an awsome teacher she wouldn't asign that to u if she didn't think u could handle it. Give her a brake.
why does she assign so much work at one time i wish she wouldnt assign 2 essays at a time and only give us a week, people as i write this are stressing out, me
