Great teacher, knows his stuff and extremely helpful for his students
Mr.Julseth is an interesting teacher and your outlook on him will depend on how you learn. For the majority of people, a teacher who yells, talks down and whines towards his students is not a great teacher. I know a few people who really enjoy his strict discipline and no-nonsense type of teaching. Mr.Julseth starts out the year by choosing his favourite students and those he'll roast for the rest of the semester. If you need strict discipline, go for it, if you want a nice teacher, stay away!!!
Scary. He's intimidating and doesn't explain things well. He's teaching so many of the grade 12 classes that I can't even change my timetable.
Mr. Julseth is a great teacher. He is very tough and strict but his teaching skill are amazing, he does not give out much homework in grade 9 science but he does a lot of tests. Overall great teacher.
Very intense, and often intimidating at first. In my experience in SCH3U and SBI3U, he is extremely knowledgeable, and always takes the time to clear up questions from his class. He does, however, have very strict rules about what should be done in his class, which puts some students off. His exams are not actually as hard as I rated them, but are extremely long. After the exam, we all gathered around, and it turns out I was one of only a handful of students that managed to finish in time.
Julseth is an amazing teacher but it is true that he speaks down to students. He enforces lots of homework which contributes to student success in his courses. He is also very knowledgeable concise in his lessons. I never
He is a good teacher at heart, but he is too intimidating.
I never felt comfortable in his class.
He is very emotional.
Some days, he can act like a military dictator.
I think he knows how to teach, but he needs to be more open minded, and be flexible with students needs.
If you are taking university level biology, take Ms. Beauchamp or Mrs. Tunis' class. Only take Mr. Julseth if you need to take grade 12 university Chemistry, as virtually every teacher is better than Ms. Fanti.
I have only had Mr. Julseth once, for grade 11 Bio. He is the ONLY teacher I have had prior to College whom actually prepared me. He has some alternative teaching methods but they definitely apply to the real world. When I went and asked for help, he devoted a lot of his own spare time to my understanding of the course material. He also seemed to genuinely care for his students (from when I spoke to him) However, he KNOWS if you are trying to manipulate him, and he will make sure he is "fair"
Mr. Julseth is sooo intimidating and unapproachable! He taught me math and had no clue what he was doing. He was rude, and had the worst teaching techniques.. he loves feeling like he has power and co
He can be difficult at times; its his way or the high way. Although, he is an amazing teacher and will prepare you very well!!! Just dont talk when he's talking in class since he will always catch you
You either hate him or love him. Admittedly I think he is fantastic albeit slightly emotional. None theless he was one of my best teachers in high school
peple that don't have him hate him but he is pretty funny. Hes also really hard
Best teacher I have ever had. Teaches things very clearly, and also forces you to follow certain study techniques. And his tests are only hard if u dont listen/study. He WILL get you ready for univ.
He spoke down to me too much, and made too many assumptions about the kids he taught. I can't learn as well in an environment where my teacher speakd down to me, so I found that I did not do as well.
He acts all tough but he is not that bad. He was a good teacher as long as you did what you were supposed to do. But make sure you set a a good firts impression otherwise you'll regret it.
Mr Julseth is actually really nice. He treats his students well and his classes are entertaining. Hes a really good teacher i have had him every year of highschool and i think he's great!
makes a bad first impression, but after that, hes amazing, he even helped me when i wasn't even in his class before he went home... that shows a lot hes a great teacher.
Will never forget the sign outside the school before the summer of 2002..."EAT IT JULSETH"
you are way to emotional and unpredictable.. you need to get that checked out.
he is an awesome teacher and is the best at preparing students for university. he's a lot more strict with the gr 9 and 10s... but for sr. grades he loves to have a great time. he
can make students feel insignificant and unwanted not very approachable kinda scary
LOVE HIM!... some people dont give him enough credit. hes amazing.
Ive never met a teacher who cares more about his students than Mr Julseth! He is the greatest!
Terrible temper. has had it out for me ever since i dropped his class. completely ignores me in halls when i say "hi". Hate Him!!!
hes alright..wasn't the teacher i would have liked for my very first in grade 9 im just glad i don't got him this year
The B Retort Stand? Ha, you'll get yours Mr. Julseth...
terrible temper, broke a ruler! but a really good teacher and listens when u need it!
