He makes things easy because he explains everything. Super helpful for so many students. He cares about who you are more than most teachers.
he's smart but he doesn't know how to teach and he doesn't really care about students
Here's a booklet, now copy the things I show you. I'll now talk about science and religion. Go home and study, I expect you to understand everything. Kay thanks. How do you pass his class? Buy the book, buy it. Seriously, its more thorough than him. Do that in combination with youtube videos. You'll understand more in 9 minutes compared to his half an hour lecture.
He won't go and help you. You have to take the initiative, and when you ask he helps. I guess thats another one of his "life lessons". In grade 10 I disliked him but by grade 12 I respected him a lot.
Bam study notes... thats all he gives. Teaching? half the time he sways away from the actual work and does some other things and tells u to go practice at home. Other than that he is a good guy and has an awesome personality
Let's be fair. He knows a lot; he is fun and easy-going. But the bunch of study guides..that's kinda eyesore..which lowered my interest. And you MUST GET A WORKBOOK TO DO IN HIS CLASS, if you wanna jump from 90% to 100%.
His tests are hard, but if you pay attention to what he says and do the practice he gives out, it's all cool. Nice guy, he hates those who don't try, and preps people very well for provincials. Oh yea, and read Hebden
why does everyone hate Mr. Shim??? He is a good teacher and he explains everything, you just need to ask!!! Plus everything we need is in his study guides. He's really easy and he scales our tests down!
While he is hard teacher in terms of work, Mr. Shim loves to teach simply to educate us. In a world full of vain and ruthless people, that's hard to find. A little trick to survive is to listen to him and use Hebden.(A gamer)
he is such an easy teacher.... it's the first time i got an A is science
Be patient in class and you'll not only ace his course, but also the provincial examination.
He should clarify and teach students with difficulties through the course
