I only began french immersion in grade 7. Mme. Hood was my grade 9 french teacher, and although her course was difficult, I learned more that year than I had in all of my earlier education. I had never assumed that I would use french in my professional career, but the experience I had in her class inspired me to complete my bilingual certificate at Hillcrest.
As part of my job, I now teach molecular biology in french at a francophone university.
as long as you already speak and write french you are one of her favourites. She cannot teach anyone who does not already know the material. She has not one ounce of caring or feeling for struggling
mme hood was amazing. she was really helpful because she went back and reviewed a lot of stuff that i had long forgoten about. I thought she was amazing.
An amazing teacher! I only wish she can teach sr! I've never learned so much and remembered it! Very approachable, funny, sincere and kind! She definately helps students improve!
i find her class kinda boring sometimes, but she loves to joke around, lol, (her home under the bridge haha) she should teach gr 11 and 12 though
The best french teacher ever. Why does she waste her time with grade 9s. Teach grade 12. Do us a favor.
sHE is the best french teacher I have ever had, although she speaks really really fast (I don't think she breaths!)
wow..didn't know someone could speak the French language so quickly O_o Good teacher but i hated french novel studies
Good teacher, always making jokes. Work is hard though. She scares us althe time
great teacher, but thrived on scaring the bejeezus out of us...
