Joan is quite disorganized, BUT if you are able to live with it, you will do good. Yes it takes a little bit of extra work at the beginning, but you get used to it quickly and you are able to get good grades. I used the guidelines for exams she gave us and it helped. If needed, read in your (costly!!) manual. She is open to conversation about other things than bio. I had her in Bio 2.

She is extremely lost and goes on tangents MOST of the course. She never rereads the exams before she gives them, so they are full of mistakes and most of the questions are unclear. Try to avoid this teacher or make sure you know how to learn on your own because she is useless.

I don't mind if people are ADHD, but seriously take your medication, Joan. She is the most lost person i ever saw in my entire life. If you have her, cancel the class or run. just run.

Very nice person but with all respect I don't believe she should be teaching human biology. Very disorganized, avoid if you can and please don't waste money on the text book!

She is not clear. She should sincerely stop teaching. The manual is way more interesting and easier to follow. She is kind and will give you more time to hand in assignments and labs if needed

She is a very nice person and she is very helpful when you go ask questions one on one. However, she is really disorganized and so her course is too. Her tests are very ambiguous. I do not recommend.

She will mislead you haha. But if you keep your head up and know/study the subject well, it is not hard to do well in the course. Even if she is bad, it doesnt really affect ur own performance.

Lacks organization. Tests are not clear, hard. She uses all different terms and words in tests than in her class notes. Makes me think of Trelawney in Harry Potter. Worst bio teacher I've had.

I never looked forward to her classes. Very unorganized and spends too much time on random rants about random biology facts than the actual stuff we need to learn. Classes are boring. She's not clear in her explanations, and her tests are fairly hard.

I love her counting skills: 1, 2, 3, 3, 4, 5 ... But besides that she can keep the class' attention, not boring at all, knows alot about her subject, just a bit absent minded :P

She's a nice teacher but sometimes isn't able to properly explain things. Most of the time, you're better off doing other hmwk in class and then taking notes from the book for the tests
