Basically, no matter what teachers you have economy is HARD ! He has his own way to teach but the classes are interresting because he cares about us and want to show us the reality of our world.

Fun teacher. Work for the assignments and you pass out of nowhere. He is a great person. You need to have him once to understand that he cares about you. Sad that he is retiring.

I had him both in Macroeconomics and Microeconomics. I barely passed his courses. I hope he changed his methods of teaching with less overheads.

Spends too much time on his silly metaphors instead of teaching us economics. However, if you go to see him during his office hours, he becomes very helpful. If only he could act like that in class...

Tough course but the teacher tries his best to help the students out but often it does not work out. His tests I found were very hard because they concentrate on details you dont think will be asked.

He is not a good teacher. He's funny, but somehow you end up being completley unprepared for his exams. You'll only learn in this class by studying the book.

He relates the material to stories and the world so it makes it easier to remember. I liked him a lot but for someone who's bad with economics I suffered from his lack of clarity and detail.

Key to good marks is to use ur econ lab practice exams. when u cant answer a question easily, read that section in ur book. insanely gut-bustingly face-meltingly funny. tangents about world today actually make you learn

You have to keep questionning this teacher about specific things in the material. You need to stop his from his side-tracking to tell his sometimes-unrealistic-stories. If you don't these things, he's only gonna skim through the class materials.
