Ms. Chu Morrison is a literal saint. She is the sweetest lady who is always open to helping her students. She is a fair marker and explains everything crystal clearly. She made English interesting and made me see the books we read in a whole other light. She shows no favouritism and loves all her students equally. She is an amazing person and amazing teacher who I would recommend to anyone.
Very fair. If accommodation or clarification is needed, no need to be shy. English & lit courses are book heavy, a great effort is made to be clear & comprehensive (character/vocab lists, chapter notes, etc.). Checks homework for a reason, it really aids remembering order of events when reading 5 books in one semester. Tremendous life & academic experience, full of great stories! Her positivity knows no bounds. Truly cares about students & the world. Always willing to learn from her students!
Ms. Chu Mo is very open to different points of view and encourages respectful class discussions. Cultivates a welcoming environment; no reason to be shy, as she allows all voices to be heard & considered valid. Always willing to listen to concerns ie. essay/test marks, very fair marker. Truly wants to see her students thrive, incredibly supportive both academically & personally, will do anything to help her students succeed & provides ample opportunity. Overall, wonderful 3 semesters with her!
She's a very cheerful teacher, but nonetheless i had a very difficult time in her class. She forgets many things easily which made my work ethics very scattered. I also felt very guilty about disappointing her if i couldn't hand in anything on time, which added extra stress.
I took Ms. Chu-Morrison's grade 12 literature class and I absolutely loved it! The novels studied in class were Pride and Prejudice, In the Name of Salome, Memoirs of a Geisha, Sweetness in the Belly and Prisoner of Tehran. All great reads with similar themes which were explored in class. The class did not feel like a class but instead a book club! Insightful and thought provoking discussions were part of every class. If you are an avid reader and a lover of books take this course!
I had her for Literature and it was honestly the best class ever. It was just like a book club. I also had her husband as a teacher and I find that their methods are pretty much the same. It was a great class and I'd recommend it to anyone if Ms. Chu Morrison is the teacher. Thanks for all the memories, Ms!
Inspirational, thoughtful, sincere, talented and positive. She has all these qualities and throughout her class I not only improved my writing skills but I gained something that you cannot receive from any other class. Life lessons and reflection.
Had her for Writer's Craft and she was awesome! Open to new ideas and different styles! Loved her :)
I just found out that an assignment she gave us in grade TEN English was one of the major assignments/cpts in the GRADE TWELVE PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS. Good going, miss.
she's alright...pretty nice but can be a total meanyy at times=)
Excellent teacher, my daughter comes home please with her teaching styles. Her writing skills has increased dramatically because of Ms. Chu-Morrison. Thank you.
she has her favorites, and ignores you unless you help her with global culture club, the only thing i learned from her was ... ya i got nothing
i can actually listen to her when she talks, unlike most other teachers where i just wanna fall asleep.
I think that she's a great leader, and very friendly, in short the best!
she's really friendly and always smiles! Shes really nice too. She gives A LOT of work! I was shocked when she gave us our calender. SO many ESSAYS!
she was such a great teacher..helpful, friendly and an honest person
very nice lady, always has the best intetions...assigns a lot of pointless work other classes dont have to to do
She's really nice and everything, but gives us WAY too much work. she says its part of the curriculum but none of the other english classes have to do that much.
Great teacher. Nice to even the freaks ie) me. *thumbs up*
