I just got her as a teacher this year and I'm really loving it! I heard mixed comments about her from my friends and most said she was pretty good and she is awesome. Shes pretty nice and she really helps out if your struggling and need help from her. Its only been like 2 months and yeah she's already awesome.

Her tests are all straight from old provincial exams and her final exam is pretty much a print out of an old provincial. Mrs. Rana is the most loving and caring teacher I have ever met! She is always there when you need help, but only if you're on her good side. She can sometimes be easily distracted, but it's okay, because her class is a blast! YOU ROCK MRS. RANA!!!

She's nice. There's a lot of people complaining about her but I don't know when there is to complain about :/ other then the fact that she doesn't teach all of my classes lol (that's the only complaint)

Ms Rana is great. If anybody says otherswise it's probably because they failed her class. She honestly makes learning so easy she literally told us exactly what was on the test ....idk if it's possible to even get a bad mark in her class tbh. When ever I'm struggling I ask for help and she helps me, her class is so easy you have to be an absolute idiot to fail...no offence to the dumb people complaining lol

A great teacher. She really knows what she is doing. Every one is different but I found her easy to learn from. I really hate chemistry and its probably my weakest course but I got an A because she actually taught me well. A lot of people agree with me that she teaches well compared to that other chemistry teacher.

Mrs. Rana is a very smart woman and i believe she has good intentions... But she is too scatterbrained to be a teacher. Sometimes she forgets to photocopy tests and it can take her as long as 15 minutes. She often struggles with technology as well. Also, she occasionally loses or misplaces test, or forgets to mark them after many [email protected]

If you want to understand whats going on, you either have to learn on your own, or be very smart to begin with. When there are tests, she often forgets to photocopy the test. One time, she took the first 10 minutes of class to get organized, then she finally remembered to photocopy the test. We ended up getting only 45 minutes to do the test, when were were supposed to get over an hour, then, she only let us stay in a few minutes at lunch. By the way, I got 92% in her class.

for all those of you who are harping on how terrible she is, check yourself. there is always a method to why she does what she does. I'm not the best at science and i got an A, from working hard and paying attention. you lot are probably dicking around and not paying attention...her class is not hard..its HARD to get a bad mark actually. so be quiet and go study, you obviously need to do more of that. she's wonderful and always has the best intentions.

I think that all these rude and ignorant comments about Mrs. Rana are stupid. Obviously all of you egotistic maniacs don't know why she gives you lots of homework, she is trying to prepare us for university. The work load in High school is nothing compared to university, she's smart to prepare us. Every teacher has their flaws but I think she cares about her students and wishes well. She's a great teacher, if you are reading this Mrs. Rana ignore the haters! I think you're a great teacher!

IMO, i think she's fantastic but it rly depends on the kind of student u are!ullget hwk. doesn't give retests but her tests are pretty fair. She'll help u,if u show an interest in learning & that u care. Class may start off slow so u gotta have patience w/her. Chem itself contains lots of materials & IT HELPS to preview chem b4 u go to class bc Her notes cover some things but u have 2 do ur part too.Im lucky; My class is small we have no rowdy kids so she don hav a prob with us<3 fav teacher.

Jayshree Rana is extremely rude and unprofessional in class. She spends way too much time talking about her personal life. She gets to class late everyday and comes unprepared. She relies on students to remind her of the previous day's work. Her tests are nothing like the material she teaches and tells us to study.

By far, the worst teacher I've ever had. She can be mean, insulting and she doesn't teach very well. She spends the first 15 minutes of class getting organized, then she spends the next 45 minutes going over topics we already learned the previous day. She has absolutely no idea what work she assigned, she relies on the students to tell her what our homework was. If you have her, I suggest you ask your counselor if you can switch your class as soon as possible.

She is a nice teacher, however, she always assigns work that is unnecessary, and she gives very little time (if any) to complete the homework in class.
The first 5-15 minutes of class, she is getting all her stuff organized (instead of doing it before class). Then, she'll spend the rest of the class giving us notes (that make no sense). Then, she assigns homework at the end of class, but even though we spent an hour taking notes, its still confusing.

I got 87% in Science 10. I got Chemistry with Ms Rana and I am instantly regretting it. Her examples make zero sense and the exams are very confusing. Basically if you're not a self-directed learner, you're going to have a very painful semester.

she lost 3 of my tests and then gave me zeros, when she was the one that lost them. she's a good teacher but doesn't teach it in a way we can understand. only if you ask for help shell help you but then you have to ask about the whole lesson which you obviously wouldn't do. she gives so much homework and you even have to do questions for her just so u can get out of class. i got such a low mark in my class because of her, my parents almost killed me. thanks rana.

Had her for Chem 11 Honours. The class was a joke, her tests were unbelievably lengthy and her projects were useless. The one thing I'll give her is that she's funny. She tends to be absent quite a bit though, which can be good and bad.
