He is the best teacher EVER!!!!!! Who ever does not like him they do not know how smart, fun, energetic, and nice he is. You need to appreciate the amount of time he puts for you to learn. He is not like the other teachers that do not care weather you learn or not mr wessman truly wants you to learn. You might think he is wierd in the beginning but after a while you are with him you will get what i mean.
Mr.Wessman intelligent and knowledgeable man. There is absolutely no denying that fact. His enthusiasm is sometimes refreshing after a day of looking into dead eyed teachers and monotoned voices. His hoodly doo scoosh attitude can sometimes get a little old, but it always seems to motivate you to do better. And the amount he talks about his personal life may be hard to understand but it actually just humanises him to be more of a person than just a teacher.
Hé does not have the proper expectations of a grade 7 student. He also does not teach the proper curriculum and makes things more difficult then they need to be
I had Mr Wessman when I was in grade 8, I am now finishing grade 12 chemistry (30). I used to think he was a bad teacher and None of his teaching made sense, but now that I am completing high school chemistry, everything he has taught me is coming to use. Even the math and such i learned in grade 8 is helping me in chemistry 30 and in physics. If i could give him 7 stars for knowledge I would. He only has a bad rating because most kids are young and dont see how helpful he is. Great teacher.
I love Mr Wessman, he is a great teacher with a passion for dancing on tables and exploring new ways to learn concepts. I am exited for another year with this great teacher, thank you Mr Wessman
Everyone who thinks Mr. Wessman's terrible, are the stupid ones, the ones who dont listen in class, or just are annoying
Honestly he isn't the worst teacher. He is funny and really intellectually smart. So calm down and stop complaining. I bet none of you can be better teachers than him ( to the haters). :)
Mr Wessman is ok. I mean he is an enthusiastic person. But he makes us read Dr Seuss and do the cha-cha. The cha-cha? Really. It's insane. And he is always complaining about marking tests and being humble. And I am not going to go into the food he eats. I don't recommend him. He also braggs about his bachelor degree. I am sorry for any future students who have him
Mr Wessman is absolutely not scooshy. He is so unorganized and all over the place sometimes. I'm not even sure if he's a normal person, or a robot. And don't even get me started on his eating. He complains about how long it takes to mark tests, or make worksheets, but it's your JOB. He also talks about is life to much, sometimes I ask myself, is this Math and Science, or his biography?
I do not like Mr Wessman one bit. He makes everything overly confusing and changes the subject soooooooooooo easily. I would actually rather be learning in his class. FOR GODS SAKE. WE READ DR. SUESS IN MATH CLASS. THAT IS NOT RIGHT!!! He definetley picks favourites in your class. He also does things like rub glue on your neck and put a vacuum cleaner on your face. I feel sorry for anyone who has Mr. Wessman.
Mr Wessman was very knowledgeable (and he will remind you regularly with his bachelor degree) however he rarely seemed to share this knowledge with the classroom. He deemed the textbook useless and used maybe two or three pages during the entire year. I found his class easy because of the total lack of material but his exams would test you on information he failed to teach you. When asked in detail he would answer but without prodding i found it difficult to learn much, if anything at all.
some people hate him but hes really knowledgeable
Frustrating and he didn't teach us anything useful. Just the same boring concepts everyday and maybe if you're lucky he might go into things you learned in grade four!!! Dances on the table and spits on unsuspecting students(though not on purpose-he just eats with his mouth open-) Gives us inaccurate marks and has definite favorites. Easily stressed and not good at explaining things. Made a lot of my classmates cry. Few people who see the positive side of him, but everyone else . . . . . . ...
He has been okay. He has been a little mean and doesnt explain thinhs al the time
mr wessman definitely chooses favorites and picks on less knowledgable students in the class. you can easily get a 100% in his class if you add his favourite word (scoosh) into your essay.. tends to get off topic and is very anxious/ antsy in class
He never taught us anything in the curriculum and he always gets off task. He once started talking about how John F. Kennedy died ? It's always hard to understand the point of what he's saying and he always takes a while to get class started.
2 years with james, he was a nice guy, I wonder who andy is?
He was by far the most eccentric and passionate teacher I've ever had. It's not hard to get a good mark in his class as long as you share (or pretend to share) his enthusiasm. Yes, it's true he doesn't teach the grade 8 curriculum and he entirely forgot about teaching us Math in Math. I would not be able to survive another year like that. That said, I've never learned so much in a class. Keep this in mind if you're struggling with him: in hindsight, I'm so grateful I had him as a teacher.
I had this teacher in grade 7 and everything he tought us im learning again in grade 8. he didnt even use the text book so we couldnt take it home to study for tests. we had to rely compleatly on notes that made no sence what so ever. he gave the class a lecture everyday for almost half the class about how he hates it when we play this so called "game". what the heck is he talking about? he once got me so mad i left school for the rest of the day.
An amazing teacher that I can't describe how much he has helped me see life......................................................................
I love Mr Wessman, my favorite teacher all year, very funny, very smart, and great teaching strategies how ever tends to repeat him self, good for the kids that arent understanding but alitle irratati
I miss him he needs to come back so we don't do worksheets 24/7!!!!
He is such a great teacher. He just tries to find ways to make learning fun. With 'Betty la Baleine' etc..
mr. Wessman rocks! He is the BEST teacher ever! You really need to give him more credit! :D
He doesn't teach you anything, and that's not a good thing. I'm almost failing because I'm not very good at Science.
i loved wessman!! He was the funniest teacher ever!! Everday I would laugh.
He Seems like a nice man but he seems to choose many favorites. (6 kids in my son's class got over 100% on stuff other kids only would have gotten 85-95% on)
I love him he is my favorite teacher when ppl make fun of him i am the only one who defends him, Tristan B.
Mr. Wessman is a great teacher! Better than Fiset. We do experiments and hands on activities that make learning more fun and easy, not just take notes like last year.
Well...the exams were good. The constant revision definitely made finals easier...but I have to say, you are a bit...impatient.
Fiset is the Worlds best teacher compared to Westman. I'd hav Fiset back in a flash!!!!
why does everyonee have to be so negative towards wessman.no he may not be the nicest guy you've ever met but i am sure you guys dont treat him with respect
u seem to enjoy bothering the students about questions they don't understand, instead of maybe embarassing them in class tell them to come to a tutorial?
could you treat us like we are a little more mature? Your systems are well thought out-but just a little too young for us.
Not too clear about instructions but he gives marks where they are deserved (or not deserved);)
ur an ok guy but i mean- u treat us like we're in grade 2! no one likes it!!! treat us with a little more respect. and if we arent paying attention. dont ask us
