Arguably the single best teacher in the Comp. His intellect and knowledge far surpasses the average teacher, and if you're willing to try in his class, he'll take you miles ahead in your writing, reading, and comprehension skills. His marking may be harder than other teachers, but if you take the time, he'll work with you on giving feedback so your rewrites (every essay can be rewritten) are actually better.

Having him was probably the worst idea I ever had. The only reason why people actually do have him as a teacher is to enjoy convos with him. Otherwise teaching from him is like teaching a clock to tick counterclockwise. If you disagree with him, he will ignore you and mark harder when he gives you a chance to rewrite for him. Regret that semester for the rest of my life

Not helpful in any way. Doesn't really seem to care about his students. Will only give out a good grade if you write his perspective on your paper. Ridiculous.

Although his writing looks worse than a five year olds, I loved having Mr. Chiba as a teacher. He is extremely knowledgable and he always knows how to answer your question, as well as prompts you in the right direction for whatever it is you're doing. He makes English easier, and understands and cares for his students. He reviews tests and allows you to agrue for your marks if you believe that you were right. Mr. Chiba pushes us to always succeed.

A teacher with high expectations that does his best to make you understand reach those expectations. Though his writing is largely difficult to read he has made the switch to keyboard, thus making taking notes easier.

Really rude and condescending. Says to write what you think but cuts off marks if you dont agree with him. Tried so hard to get help but didnt seem to actually care about helping.
